Paris Hilton is still shopping away while on vacation in Hawaii but the heiress may have to watch her bank account a little more carefully in the future. Grandpa Barron decided to leave 97% of his estimated $2.3 billion fortune to charity. LOVE IT! The 80-year-old son of the creator of the Hilton Hotels is leaving his fortune to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. It will help create housing, clean water and education in Africa and around the world. The Hilton kids will still see an estimated $5 mil but that's nothing compared to what they thought they would rake in. I guess Paris is going to have to keep hosting New Year's parties to pay for all those fancy cars and clothes.

Lots more of Paris shopping around so read more

Did he die or something? I am confused as to why his will his brought up now?
1ahaaaahaha..but i know she got some change left.
2btw..im glad thats going to charity they needed the money more than her.
3Good for the grand papa
4That's wonderful! My friend's father works with the Hilton grandparents and he said that they are very embarassed of their family and what they've become. I'm not surprised by this decision.
5thank you grandpa
6GOOD!
7I'm not surprised. The funny thing is that Conrad Hilton left his children with ZERO, and Barron proved to a court that he had actually WORKED hard for his portion of the inheritance...and he won. Paris Hilton on the other hand has done nothing but sully the family name!!!
PS: Wonder how Rick Hilton feels?
8I think the family went downhill when Rick married Kathy. But I wonder if Rick even works? If neither parent is working and has no other inheritance to leave the kids then yeah, I'd say Paris will be broke within the next 10 years! lol
9I'd be more than happy with $5 million. I wish more rich people would donate their money to charity instead of passing it all down to their families.
10After taxes that money thats left over wont amount to much. Of course, it would to us less fortunate people...but split between those money grubbing Hiltons...it just wont last.
Tee hee hee!!
11I'm sure that Paris will come out and say that she earns her own money and it doesnt matter that grandaddy has decided to leave it to charity. Blah blah blah....but how long does she think her whole skank socialite image will last? Ha...atleast we wont have to call her an "heiress" anymore.
12That's the thing with these rich families raising brats. You need to make sure your offspring can carry on the family integrity and money or else whats the point?! Good for him!
13good for him
14don't worry fugly tramp, valtrex will give you refills at an affordable price
15oh that sucks for her!!!!!
16...and what a f****** embarrassment they ALL must be to him....in his era, chicks like his granddaughter were shot execution style for being loose wh*res....obviously, this is not a fact but wtf happened to women leaving a little mystery instead of spreading em' wide and popping out little fatherless babiesall over the place???? diiiisgusting
17
jaan_black i agree.
18According to that fatso Brandson Davis, Paris is about to be POOR...I guess "lice crotch" won't be whizzing'round town with him anymore.
19haha karma beyotch - that's what you get for being a nasty, skanky ho who does NO good whatsover with her money.
Good for her grandpa!
20so sweet. Paris would never do that with the money and I think he knows that, she would probably buy lots of expensive tacky clothes.
21Yay for her Grandpa!
22I hope Paris saved up her ho money because $5 mill is nothing to someone with her lifestyle. She'll get about half after taxes and it's probably comparable to a regular person getting $10,000. Her ho meter is also running out, so she better do as many club appearances while she can!
23exactly hotstuff!! That and she better keep selling her canned champagne....she's got to afford some more new tacky t-shirts to wear around town. Jail did NOTHING to change her what-so-ever!
24hahahahahahahahah, OMG that's by far the best news I've heard all day!!!! She doesn't deserve what money she has now! Therefor, she should be given any more. Stick that one in you crack pipe and smoke it b*tch. LOLOLOL!!!
25Unfortunately, it sounds like you guys are forgetting she makes money off of her own lines of perfume, books, and endorsements.... she will never be without.
26She may make money off of those "ventures" and I use that word LIGHTLY, but not nearly the amount that she was going to inherit from just being a namesake!!!
27Yea, whatever.
28I don't think she has that much to worry about, she'll just marry a rich guy after she's had her fun . She already has 2 billionaires wrapped around her fingers- boy Paris and Stavros.
29The lifestyle she lives right now is SO expensive. Even if she made a million dollars everytime she went to a club, she couldnt' maintain her current lifestyle without the inheritance. Maintaining nice things, property tax, insurance on luxry items...it costs so much money!
I think it is FANTASTIC he did that. Maybe now she will refocus her energy on Africa, since that is where all of her family's money is going.
30boo-f*cking-hoo.
31Good for him. In a day where all we read is about negatives, it's nice to see something truly positive.
32no more heiress then?
should her perfume be discounted?
kudos to grandpa Hilton!
33Makes me feel a whole lot better about staying at a Hilton knowing my money won't be going to fund Paris' lifestyle. Get a job girl.. You're going to need it...
34hahahahaha!!!!
35To quote Nelson Muntz, "Ha Ha!"
36Never count your inheritence before you actually inherit it.
Absolutely brilliant!
that's awesome~ grandpa rocks~
37Wow, awesome! Doesn't this affect Rick and Kathy too? Loves it!!
38Too bad she doesn't have much of an education. She probably couldn't even qualify to get hired by any of the aid groups the money is going to.
If an average person with some brains got handed a million dollar windfall, they could invest it in a way that they could have a modest income for life without working.
Paris Hilton probably can't support her lifestyle for more than a few weeks on a million. She does get millions from endorsements and appearances, but she's nearing 30, so how long can she keep being marketable for youth-related products like clubs and perfumes.
39I thought she was only supposed to inherit around 35 million to begin with, which this girl could blow through in a few years judging by her lifestyle.
While she'll only inherit 5 mil, I wonder what her current trust stands at. It could be a large sum (and wouldn't be calculated in her grandfather's estate). She'll be fine, she's like a cockroach... if the world was hit by a massive meteor she'd still be left. ugh.
40I also think 5 Million is before taxes (which will take about 50%). I heard there is around 95 million to be divided among all of the children (her parents, uncles, aunts) and the grandkids (all of their children). I think there are around 14 people total.
41princis, the money that he is giving away to charity will include all trusts.
42would you like fries with that? .... careful, thats hot.
43She will be probably be getting $2000 at the end....
44I would think it's more than 14 people. Barron had 8 children, and his son Rick has four kids, so that's 12 already, unless the other 7 kids only had two grandkids between them?
45Ahh - poor little rich girl!! It couldn't have happened to a more deserving family. Obviously the old man thought they didn't deserve to piss away the fortune he'd made. Smart man. They're used to wh*ring for their money anyway - so this won't change anything...
46LMAO!!! Who's the "poor" one now? (Firecrotch video).
47this made my day!!...maybe paris can finally can get a REAL job and being an "airhead" is not a job.
48I was referring to a trust in Paris's name. Trusts are generally irrevocable (unless Conrad Hilton set it up in CA and didn't designate whether it was revocable or irrevocable, CA is such an odd state legally), and actions to liquidate against the trustee's interest are grounds for a suit (i.e. that whole debackle with the girl who was in "The Little Princess").
I was under the guise that both Paris and Nicky Hilton had trust funds, which are not affected by Conrad's giving his estate to charity unless those trusts were revocable.
