Reese was spotted doing some holiday shopping in LA yesterday. While she doesn't look so happy to see the cameras, she still looks adorable. Apparently Reese won't be spending most of her time in LA for much longer. Supposedly Reese is moving back to the south. She's taken Ava and Deacon to Charleston, SC and enrolled both kids in public school.

I'd love it if she moved to my city!! However, there is NO WAY IN HELL that she'd put her kids in public school. the public schools here are AWFUL!
Love her. Love her hair! Come on down to the Southeast, Reese!
I would love to bump into her at the Market or on the Battery!!
She is so talented and gorgeous
Love the first photo...she is really growing on me
Sould she be ANY more beautiful? I think not. She seems so family orientied, so good for her on taking the kids back home. Although, I hope dad is not too far away - he's important, too!
oops, meant "Could" not "Should"
She is just awesome- I'd love it if she returned to the south!!!

i love her and i think thats a great for her to take her kids out of the hollyweird scene...good for her

Oh I love reese! Come on down south again girl
I **could** actually see her putting her kids in public school though, she seems so darn down to earth!
I think all celebs that have babies should consider moving out of Hollywood because Hollywood is trouble.
I have always adored Reese, and I am happy to see their (Ryan) divorce is not front page news. She is the epitome of class...
I think it would be a really cool idea, but the SC schools are tied for like 49th worst in the country! My folks are dirt poor & still put me in Catholic school. It is sad really. But the state seems bound & determined to put education on the back burner
I think that she has ties to Charleston. The hairdresser I go to did her hair for her wedding.
that's really cool that she put her kids in public school.
she probably doesn't want
them to think they're better than anyone else. she seems so down to earth. good for her for moving out of hollywood.
It is a very cool little town, cobblestone streets & everything! We have a pretty cool arts scene here, too.
I call b.s. on this story, mainly because of the public schools aspect, which I'm glad two SC natives have mentioned already.
I love her too. Her shoes are too cute!
I do not think she enrolled them in public school, anybody in this state that cares about the education of their children do not let them go to public school.
thanks Megg & Pollypo! I hate ragging on SC, but our educational system is in the crapper
Megg- where in SC do you live?
why are the public schools in SC so bad? does anyone in the state govt do anything about it?
Sashak- I live in Pawleys Island and before that in Mt Pleasant.
well, a big part of the problem is that fact the the school districts control what little money the state gives them & there are constant battles over which school deserve the most. That and unfortunately, lots of (not all obviously) folks in SC really don't care about education. we have a ridiculously high HS drop-out rate
Right on! I live on James Island! Pawleys is beautiful. I hope it says a funky little town for a good long time
that makes me sad.
people are far more likely to suceed with a proper education.
The problem with SC schools is that unfortunately a large percentage of the state population just do not care about the education of their children. I know teachers and the stories you here are crazy. Parents think that the schools should do everything and that they don not need to participate in their children's education. I have also heard parents say to their kids that why bother with school since they are just going to get a job in one of the local mills and only fancy people need a education.
Pawleys is still a bit funky or as we like to say Arrogantly Shabby
LOL Megg! & we wonder why our state economy is sub-par...
*shocked*
'only fancy people need an education'?
LOL! I wish Folly had stayed that way. I hate those damn beach condo thingys
I am on James Island too!
It would be a trip to bump into her at the farmers market or Harris Teeter:)
yeah, SC is kinda proud of its "rural down-home folks". why that precludes an education, I don't know
they call it "putting on airs"
i guess it's just very different mindset from where i grew up. i lived in rural mn until i was 13 and everyone wanted their kids to go to 'the cities' for college.
The story is fake.
It is shocking I have lived in Sc for 10 years and the views of so many of the people I come across still drives me crazy. Not all people I meet are this way but an unfortunately large portion of the population still think along these lines, and southerners(NOT ALL!) wonder why the rest of the county think that they are stupid ,if only they were willing to change just a little.
I know! My dad grew up in a (then) teeny town outside of Chas. & his family was shocked (& I mean SHOCKED) when he got a PH.D. I am one of three grandchildren & the only one who went to college. I just don't get alot of the folks here
My husband was the first person in his family to go to college and his family did not think that he should go. He has to pay for everything himself, his parents never even went to the school to see it, check out the dorms etc. They did not even go to his graduation.
I have lived in the south my entire life - Everyone in my family and most all of my friends went to at leat college, if not further in school...??
Sorry, least - not leat ha ha
megg, that's so sad about your husband. i can't believe his parents didn't go to his graduation!
I believe the moving down south part , but not the public school aspect, simply because if she was so family oriented, she would give her children the best education possible, & she is more than capable of sending them to private school. Unfortunatly, no matter WHERE you go, public school is never the BEST education. Decent? Yes. But the Best? No.
Its true and when I try to question it all I get is that they are just simple people and being around alot of people scare them.
i don't know, the public schools where i'm from are very good. i think it all depends on how much people want to put into it, higher wages for better teachers, more money for up-to-date books...
megg, what do you mean being around a lot of people? like, a university?
