Pursuit of Happyness may be getting great reviews, but they weren't enough to keep the film at the top again this weekend. However, this didn't stop Thandie from celebrating this holiday in London. As for the top spot, Ben Stiller's Night at the Museum debuted at #1 taking in just over $30 million. Pursuit came in at #2 with $15 M. It's hard to compete with a film that's safe to take the whole family to. Rounding out the top 5 are Rocky Balboa with $12.5 M, The Good Shepherd with $10 M and We Are Marshall with $6.6 M.

4Thandie Newton is not looking good here. The dress reminds me of Interview With the Vampire.
5The words "hot" and "mess" come to mind. Some R&R might've done Thandie some good instead of cavorting around in this masquerade get up. She's got an adorable, sweet look but I think she had a totally lousy attitude about Angelina Jolie being cast in 'A Mighty Heart' Disappointing.
6I love Thandie but she looks a mess here.
Divalicious,
She never said anything about Jolie. She said people should wait to see the movie before they judge.
Also, she's british her views on race and stuff is vastly different from an american's view. She commented mainly because she was asked. I read the article she sounded pretty neutral to me.
7Thandie Newton is gorgeous, but she looks tired and pale and lifeless in these pictures.
8Hi Lula29 & Season's Greetings! Thanks for your comment. It made me re-read the article. Though I'm a fan of Thandie Newton as an actress (loved her in 'Flirting', 'ER' & 'Crash') her comments still rub me the wrong way:
Staralicious: THANDIE 'JEALOUS' OF BLACK ANGIE
Thandie Newton (famous for playing Tom Cruise’s girlfriend in the MI franchise) has admitted that she is “shocked” and “slightly jealous” that Angelina Jolie has been cast as murdered journalist Daniel Pearl’s mixed-race wife in the new movie about his life and death.
She said: “God I’m shocked. She’s been blacked up to play a black women.”
“I have to say it’s surprising, very surprising.”
Thandie says that while she’s a little miffed that she didn’t get the opportunity to star in the movie, she won’t criticise Ange…just yet.
”It’s an absolutely fantastic role, I would loved to have played it. But I’m not going to criticise or judge her until I’ve seen the film, that would be wrong of me.”
