The pushed it back, because of the overwhelming success of the previews. The previews were being sold out, which is very rare. Since the studio has a lot of faith in the movie, they are putting out the same weekend as Cloverfield in order to provide a girly alternative. This strategy is inspired by the Devil Wears Prada success during the opening weekend of Superman Returns.

I don't mind romantic comedies when they're a TV series. Movies don't give you enough time to flesh out the characters. It's got to be planned out over time like Ross and Rachel on Friends. That way it has more meaning. I won't be seeing this film.

I think she is the most arrogant, obnoxious actress on the planet right now. I find her annoyingly self-important and smug. She is the female version of Tom Cruise but he at least has the box office to back up some of his attitude. She's made one lousy movie (which wasn't as funny as Superbad, by the way) and she thinks she's Julia Roberts or something. Hate her.

You know, I love this site, and am not Katherine Heigl's biggest fan, but I am sick of the editorializing that goes on EVERY TIME a story about her is published on this site. If anything, THAT'S what's annoying! If the writers here can't stand her, don't write about her. Simple as that. She's not running around without panties or drinking herself stupid to make sure she gets attention. She talks, and obviously people want to listen or it wouldn't be published in every media outlet in the country.

I agree pears. I am not a big fan of hers...I don't really know a lot about her and have only seen her in one movie. But the way pop writes their threads about her is so heavy handed. Saying she will have a lot more to brag about...that is just unnecessary.

I think a lot of people assume I "love" her, just because I don't hate her. KH threads tend to get pretty intense, and it is kind of entertaining.

This is one I dont really like too much. She has complained about every aspect of her career, but seems to just LOVE talking about her personal life a little too much. I hope shes does not go back next season, as Ive heard she does not want to so she can start a family, there are plenty of actresses out there who might actually appreciate and enjoy their work. She is self absorbed, I really hope she is not going to get any more focus this year...I hate when I see her on magazine (I wont buy them) and I just think well she isnt as great as she thinks she is.

I would go see her movie. I did not see Knock up. I guess I could rent it, but I never sit still at home when I rent a movie. It ends up being almost a waste. Better for me to go to the theatre.

i don't hate her, i think she's a good actress, she's still better than some other people who's famous for 'nothing', or famous because they do crazy stuffs, or just because they're rich, or.. 'brainless'.. (oh well.. it's just my opinion)
