I really thought there was something mentally wrong with her because some things she did it just seems like she cant really help herself. I think it is more of a mental breakdown than anything substance wise, but I think some of her really bad things have a little of both involved in it. I started to think something was wrong with her head when she shaved it!

This is her second meltdown and it doesn't surprise me one bit. I don't feel sorry for her. She refused to give the kids back because she knows she is going to lose them.

Can we just find a new, loving, healthy, stable, fame-free home all together for those two beautiful boys of hers?!?!? Please ... don't give a rats ass about the b*tch already ... I am just so hurting for those two boys. It really makes people want to cry for them!

I am always trying to look on the bright side for Britney and her boys sake. I hope she gets the help she needs and really does see this as rock bottom. I wish that the paparazzi and sites like this (although I love them) would kind of back off and give her a little space. The video of her in the ambulance and the 40 cameramen around the car trying to get a picture of her just really makes me sad/mad.. yes, she is a train wreck, but if I was stalked like she is everyday, I wouldn't be as normal either. Her world is just not normal and I do feel bad for her and her children.

I was only surprised that it took so long. I think she is either bipolar or Schizophrenic. She has all the symptoms of schizophrenia from what I see and bipolar. If she does sadly have one of these I hope it is not Schizophrenia as her career would most likely be finished. My brother is Schizophrenic and it is VERY hard on him and our entire family and this is how it started with him. Bizzare behavior and us thinking he was on drugs. They actually LOOK like they are on drugs when they are in certain stages.

I admit that I am a celebrity junkie, but I am now at the point, where I just feel sorry for Britney, she is really hunted by the paparrazzi. I can't imagine being chased by like 50 men every where I went. I can see why she is losing it, my suggestion would be to leave the country and all of her friends and family and get some serious help somewhere far away for like a year, just escape completely. Her kids will thank her in the long run. And I think Kevin would be great about it.

ok- i havent been following the whole brit saga all that close so im probably missing something but...
how come everybody's calling this new stunt a "full blown mental breakdown" or whatever.
from what ive heard it started with a vicious albeit quite common custody drama with her not wanting to give her kids back to kevin.
kevin showed up with his attorney and called the cops and ambulances on her claiming she was on drugs. you can clearly see the cops with her in the ambulance. i just assumed she was arrested cos kevin accused her of being high and they put her in the ambulance so they can get to the hospital fast and do the test.
i mean i havent seen any indication yet as to the fact that britney suffers from any kind of psychological illness. schizophrenia and bipolar disorders are both very serious claims to make about someone and manifest themselves in ways quite different from a spoiled millionaire pop star acting out.
i mean- what about michael jackson??? how come no one ever labelled him schizophrenic? brit never pretended she was bambi/peter pan or anything like that.

I don't say shame on the paparazzi at all. Britney Spears made nice with them. Even invited one into her private, behind closed doors life. How can you fault these people for following a willing participant.

I've never liked Britney and I've been waiting for her downfall but not like this. I truly feel sorry for her. Not so much because she's the poor celebrity who's chased 24/7, don't be fooled, she wants all that. I feel bad for her because she doesn't have anyone. She has no one to ground her and set her straight. Everyone around her mooches off either her money or fame. That can definitely make someone crazy especially someone as needy for love as Britney. She's so far gone that the only person who can help her is herself. She's the one who's gonna have to say hey, I need help and accept help from professionals instead of fighting it. And you know what, I'm starting to believe that's not gonna happen and I have a terrible feeling she's gonna end up taking her life. I hate saying that but I really believe she may do it if she doesn't step up and help herself. Most of all I'm heartbroken for her boys because their lives are gonna be so screwed up and the media is gonna be in their face for the whole ride. Tragic.

candy apple - yes, you missed some, especially the part where it was the COURT MONITOR that actually called the cops after Britney locked her out of the house so she couldn't get Jayden to go back to Kevin's so there's no conspiracy here from Kevin and Kaplan.

But I do agree on one part of your post - the part where you called this a "stunt." If it's true that she had nbo drugs in her system, then I think she's just being a drama queen because the custody case isn't going well for her. :/

The COURT APPOINTED Monitor called the police.

Kevin's attorney showed up BECAUSE he had to bring the court docs on the custody agreement so the police could review it before giving the kids back to Kevin. That is a legal protocol.

There are plenty of rumors flying without you making up new ones.

candy apple- no one has ever denied that Michael Jackson has issues, but he didn't display the same sort of behavior that Britney does. It really does seem like she has bipolar disorder, and though many of us who feel this way are not doctors, we may have family members that suffer from this illness.

While it is possible that an ambulance was called because people thought Brit was high and maybe had OD'ed on something, I think if people just thought she was high she would be taken by the police. The fact that she had no drugs in her system, and was taken to have a mental evaluation, combined with her increasingly erratic behavior is why people think that she may have bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.

I just hope her kids are okay, I hope K-Fed gets custody, and that Brit gets treatment. The ideal situation would be that after Brit gets help and is stabilized, maybe 6-12 months from now, that she can become involved with her childrens' lives. Don't forget she is their mother, and kids still need and love their mothers. For now though, the kids just need a stable, loving environment!

i really feel bad for her. while i do agree that in the beginning she brought a lot of this on herself, it is pretty clear that she has lost total control of her life. she's unable to take the control back because she's obviously having a mental breakdown. a breakdown is a hard enough thing to deal with, especially when youre in denial. you see, a crazy person doesn't think they're crazy, especially when they're that deep into it. they're able to justify their actions because, in their minds, they truly believe what they're doing is sane, even though it's far from it. mentally ill people have no regard for other people and the effects of their actions because they have no regard or respect for themselves. a sane person would realize the repercussions this would have on their children, both now and in the future. britney has lost that perspective because of her illness. and it IS an illness. she's in the middle of a downward spiral and has no one to save her from drowning. and in her case, the whole world gets a front row ticket. i feel like people just keep up with the tabloids about her to feel better about themselves. the tabloids are just feeding the stigma of mental illnesses. people like to point the finger at her and say that she's rich and entitled and kfed is mean and blah blah blah. she's sick, and that's not something people should be laughing at. and to everyone who thinks she should be arrested, the last thing that needs to happen is for her to be thrown into jail. how the hell is that going to help? is it supposed to scare the "crazy" out of her? i don't think so. she needs court mandated pyschological help. but she's not going to get the help she needs until she can admit that there is a problem. you can't change if you can't see that. for some people it takes hitting rock bottom, but in her case i don't know if she's come to that point yet, or if she's beyond help. she should lose all custody of her kids and hopefully this will be a wakeup call for her that she needs help. she has nobody there to take care of her, she's just a meal ticket for the paparazzi and that sucks. she's mentally ILL and she needs help .... sorry this just really REALLY works me up.... moving on.....

Candy Apple, I'm the person that suggested serious mental illness. I have a great deal of experience in dealing with it. When my brother (and a few friends I've had that were diagnosed over the years) first became sick we thought that THEY were also just being spoiled brats in some instances when we could not figure out WHAT the heck was going on. Drugs is also a serious thing to accuse someone of . Regardless of anything, it's all opinions and personal thoughts that we are sharing. I am not her doctor. Didn't claim to be.

Not to mention as a mother myself, even if I do not like her, I would hope that she would NOT purposely act out like this and put her children in these horrible situations just for some attention. AND if she is doing that, don't you think that maybe that may blink a green light in the MENTAL DISORDER area?

I don't consider her to be stalked by the paparazzi since she drives around with them in her car, rides in their car, checks into multiple hotels on different nights with one, has him stay overnight in her house. If anything, she has been stalking the paparazzi for quite awhile.

For all of you proud to be "heartless" I just hope you never have to go through anything like this. You would rather see Britney go through something like this, so you can laugh and point, even if risks her kids' lives and health than you would see Brit just live a normal life. I think it is TOO SOON to say she is getting the help she needs, because they might not be able to hold her more than 3 days. She could be driving around to Starbucks next week.

And I'm dubious about the no drugs reports. Since when can you get a full drug panel completed in 12 hours? Some things can be ruled out with preliminary tests, but others take longer. Sam seems to be the one promoting the "no drugs" story and he's long been known to sell info to X17 and Life & Style to help make Britney sound like a better person.
