Nicole Kidman spent some time with her girlfriends at brunch this weekend before taking a walk with her man at Bondi Beach. No surefire signs of a baby bump yet, but the rumors are starting to get even juicier. Page Six is reporting that Nicole is dropping out of her upcoming film The Reader because she doesn't want to do anything that might jeopardize her pregnancy. They are even saying photo shoots with Nic need to be rearranged so she still fits into costume. Of course everything is still speculation until we get a statement from Nicole, but it's starting to sound more like she and Keith may be the newest members of the huge Hollywood baby boom!
All this and now the news that they have sold their Nashville home so they could work on their rumored other property to build a perfect farm.

i never understood why hollywood is so obsessed with pregnancy
1I've never understood why the general public is so obsessed with Hollywood pregnancies. I hate pregnancy speculation. It's her uterus, let her decide if she wants to share her news.
2I can understand her wanting to stay mum about it. She has said how traumatizing it was to lose a baby the first time with Tom, I can't imagine having to experience it now, with public fascination even more.
3(If she were to miscarry again, I mean).
4I agree, controlled. Which is another reason I hate speculation - can you imagine something like that happening and still having to see "is Nicole pregnant??" everywhere?
5I wish her all the best. I agree, I don't like pregnancy speculation. I feel like all it does is invade people's privacy and/or make non-pregnant people feel fat.
Remember the phase when the tabloids would spot a slight curve in Nicole or Jennifer Aniston's tummies, and say they had a baby bump? We shouldn't analyze women's bodies like that, it isn't healthy for both the star and the public.
6I know it's one of the things I'm really inconsistent on, given how much I enjoy speculation of all sorts when it comes to celebrities.
I guess it's the whole "personal loss" thing. Pregnancy, especially early on, is so personal and fragile. I can't imagine the pain that goes into seeing these headlines if you're trying to conceive and can't, or have conceived and lost it, etc.
And I agree about the "bump" analysis. God forbid a woman bloat once in awhile.
7I really hope she gets the chance to have a baby (she seems to really want that).
Esp now that she is with a real man and not the GMD cult fanantic.
8I LOVE her! and I completely agree with Imabeliever.
9she`s going to be alright.. and happy...
10people need to leave famous pregnancies alone for a while..
I agree with everyone. Especially with a woman that has previously miscarried before, she has the right to keep it private until she feels comfortable announcing it.
11Yea leave them ALONE
12This subject needs to be put to rest with all celebs, I can't stand all the speculation over something so private and as Greggie puts it
13"so personal and fragile".
i never understood the fascination with nicole kidman. sure, she's got lovely botoxed skin and a petite little bod, but she's a crap actress!
who really cares whether she's pregnant or not?
14I don't care much for her but I hope that she is pregnant, since she's had such a struggle with it.
15I think that she is courting the attention to a certain degree. She is out and about in Australia bringing attention to her midsection and playing coy with reporters. Since she has had issues with getting pregnant and staying that way, she would have been smarter to get out of the public eye and re-emerge when she is past the point of a miscarriage.
16pregnancy!pregnancy!
17my favorite topic and disscusion LOL!
I hope they are pregnant. It would be a nice happy thing for both of them!
18i think that it would be great news for her
19just like when tom and katie had a biological daughter
it's about time for nicole to have one of her own too
i hope all women in hollywood get prego in 2008!LOL
20I just can't see Nicole as a mom. She comes off as frigid and icy... like my mom!! But, I do hope that she has a good pregnancy, if she is indeed pregnant. I wouldn't wish miscarriage on anyone.
21Just leave her alone awhile...let her body do her thing if she's pregnant...sheesh. As Madonna says...Let it will be.
22Love her, and wish her nothing but the best, she surely deserves it.
23The great thing about a pregancy and pregnancy rumours: after a while you can't deny neither of it anymore. So, I personally sit back and wait. Sooner or later we'll know for sure whether they get a baby or not. *shrugs*
24it's good that her baby is most important to her.
25that's nice of her
she'll be a great mom, definitely.
Nicole looks fantastic in these pictures.
26Staying out the sun really is good for one's skin.
In reply to some of the unflattering remarks regarding Nicole's acting abilities, I have come up with a list of films I enjoy her in. I have watched each and every single one of Nicole's movies and more than a few are worth more than one viewing.
Every time she's in the scene, she just lights up the screen.
I shall never forget Nicole in:
The Others
Moulin Rouge
The Hours
To Die For
Dead Calm
Dogville
Golden Compass
Portrait of a Lady
Cold Mountain
Birth
These are my top ten favourite Nicole films.
27Okay, okay, I secretly enjoyed her in Far and Away too.
I am so happy she's pregnant.
Here's wishing her the 1st of many healthy babies.
Lucky for the other stars in The Reader that she got dropped. That's the best thing that could happen to them,Niw the movie won't be a sure fire flop like it would have been with Freezilla starring in it.Bet hey threw a party whenthey heard she was fired,
