Not. The Balenciaga ensemble is more art than function, which is fine on a runway, but few real people will or can wear it. But it makes a statement about the company, and maybe they will sell more other stuff as a result.

3When this collection came out, I didn't like it at all in term of functionality. It's great as art but not on the red carpet. This collection was acclaimed by the fashion gurus at style.com. I agree with the other posters, I didn't realize that Jennifer Connelly was that thin and why Jennifer Connelly as a spokesmodel? She doesn't have that avant-garde, ulta-luxe image.

i love the images from an artists' point of view, but i think Jennifer was gorgeous when she had a little more weight on her.

13Ugly, ugly, ugly. Her hair & makeup could have matched the dress. Looks like she just got out of the shower or ran a marathon. The dress isn't so bad, but those boots, ugh! God awful horrendous!
14Oh yeah, I know there's a little poof in the dress, but don't use that as an excuse for looking way too skinny. Glamoring this to the world's women just increases the bulimia and anorexia masses. And to all those fashion designers who say that they aren't part of the problem, f*ck off!
