Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey posed for the camera yesterday in LA at a photo shoot for their upcoming movie, Fool's Gold. We got a peek into their flirty friendship when they opened up to Glamour, and while we don't need to hear too much about MM's body odor, we love the rapport these two have going on. In the same interview they also talked about Matt's life in his trailer, how he sees Kate, and how Kate was raised. Here's more:

  • Matt on life in the airstream: I like where I am. If I wake up one morning and feel like moving on, I get to hook it up and move. I get a new backyard for 30 bucks a night wherever I go. Sometimes you don’t even have to pay for the spot. And you can pull into the most beautiful spots. In Utah I pulled up next to an old train track two miles into the desert. Just hooked up there, me and my dog, and the train comes rumbling by at 4 A.M. That’s cool when you’re out there with nothing else.

  • Matt on Kate: You are a really cool combination of, “Yeah, c’est la vie, baby.” But you [also] have a real moral bottom line. You don’t take s—t. You hold yourself and others accountable. The stereotype is that those are two different [things] that can be seen as way left and way right. And you have gotten more like that since I first met you. I suppose it has something to do with becoming a mother.
  • Kate on how she was raised: Growing up, if we wanted a car, we needed to work to get our car. Even parents who didn’t make nearly as much money as my parents did would buy [their kids] a car. Not with us. So they instilled something in us. It drove them crazy about the business they were in, that when kids grow up, everything is just handed to them. My parents wanted me to work to be an actor. The second I got my first job I was completely cut off. If I didn’t want to go to college, I had to move out of the house. It was normal, you know….

We love how down-to-earth Kate is, and that's probably one of the common bonds that make Kate and Matt such good friends. Even though we're not too excited about Fool's Gold, the prospect of these two together on screen might just lure us to the theater.
