i do think that the news is a bit shocking..but it just makes me think back to the preggo thing with kid rock...and how she said she miscarried - and how there's still tons of controversy about that one.

I am a nurse, too, and know the pain of seeing little ones with Hep C and AIDS, the death is not a pretty one to watch. It is pure selfishness for her to get preggers and inflict the disease on them! I think you can safely be pregnant with Hep. And you are usually (not always) able to breastfeed with implants if that's your desire.

There are many types of Hepatitis, A, B, C &D. C is spread by blood and body fluid contact (like HIV). You can be preggers with Hep A&B, but when it comes to C&D...NO! C&D are deadly and will kill you. Pam has already been interviewed saying she knows she may die before her kids are grown.

I dont know if she has B or C, but I know that C can and most likely will be very dangerous to the baby. It is virus that is spread from blood to blood contac,so it is very possible that a mother with Hep C can transmit the virus to her unborn child.

Sorry, to clarify I meant my statement on her being able to be pregnant was based on thinking she had Hep B, not just a random comment. *lol*
