How is it that family knows what buttons to push and they steady push them?
Why is it that they apologize first hand, but continue to rant or rave another time?

Family to me is about having a good time. Long, loyal friendships. their suppose to respect you, not mooche off of you and whenever you're in a rut help you out.

I love most of the things about families ingeneral, but some members take it too far.
Yes i'm one of the chicks that has a family member who's in their 40's and yet has a steady job. Truly sad i know, but what lead him to this mooching and lazy behavior?

My guess is other family members that "care too" much to see him struggle? partond my english but Bullshit...

a 40 year old man sitting at his tiny apartment, not having a way to buy chrismas gifts for his children. is very hard to ignore. thank god their mother takes great care of them, for she isn't a child like her Ex [my family member]. Even my mother has fallen off onto the "Help them when they dont need it" Stage. Offering huge plates of food, moeny being loaned out and respect being lowered. all a result of not putting your foot down.

Sure it's okay for us to accept our families, however and whatever position they're in.
but sometimes when we offer too much, too much of who we really are gets put on the backburner for other people's irresponsiblities.
