The Jolie-Pitts spent Christmas in Costa Rica and now they're in Panama where apparently Brad and Angie are considering investing in a $56 million project and buying land. But don't think for a second that the generous couple is roughing it. They'll supposedly be back to the Four Seasons Resort in Papagayo on Costa Rica's northern Pacific coast in time to celebrate the new year. Here's more:
Accompanied by their three children, a nanny and a personal chef, the Jolie-Pitt entourage, registered as "the Black family," have been staying at the resort since last Friday, the report said.
The hotel's Web site describes the facility as "spilling down a lush mountainside to an isthmus of golden sand," and says room rates range from $470 to $6,800 a night.

those poor kids- they must be exhausted all the time! They are always in different time zones. Kids need routine for stability- I wonder what they'll do when Maddox starts school....let the kids have some friends!
4They look good. Some are taking issue the luxury, but I say why shouldn't they stay there? Some people go to these type places all the time yet never lift a finger help others let alone give away millions. I hope the JoliePitts and they're little family have a ball ringing in the NY.
5Who said you need to take a vow of poverty before helping others? I hope to take a volunteer trip somewhere abroad next year and you best believe I'm going to stay in the best accommodations I can afford.

Hey sometimes they rough it when they do charity without the kids..and sometimes they stay in luxury digs..much easier when the kids are in tow. Still love them way more than Paris and her Australian ME fest.

How can you NOT like them? What an amazing life they both are living. How incredible it must be to be them. Although, I would hate to have cameras following my every move. At least they are using their fame for worthy causes. I wonder where they will go next??? This is like a game! Where will they land? Would they ever take their kids to DisneyWorld??? Doubtful.

14Yes. I did read the entire Vogue article. And I was taken with their lust for life. They are both fearless people and I give them credit. The part where AJ talked about riding their motorcycles in the desert and then spending the night alone together. How romantic. Most people cannot live like that. This family is going to have a magical life. I'm not jealous because I would be exhausted if I were them. It's just fun reading about what they are doing..where they are going..and who they are giving to. They inspire people. I think.
15And I will say it's refreshing to read about them instead of the constant nastiness and catty behavior that is being displayed by LL..BS..and PH. That whole skinny crop of girls is nauseating.
16You don't read about Natalie Portman behaving that way. Brad seems much more suited for AJ. Sorry Jen. It doesn't matter to me how they found each other. I clearly think they were destined to find one another.
They are such an intriguing couple. I really like & respect them both.
psucksliterally - I'm just curious as to if you have kids? Kids just adapt to whatever their routine is. I would love to have the ability to travel the world with my children and introduce them to many different cultures. Their kids are fortunate to have parents that can expose them to the many different nations they have visited.

18I have read that they are very affectionate when the cameras are not around. I think they are just trying to be somewhat respectful to the former Ms.Pitt. That's all. Even though having their faces on every magazine has to be hard for JA to see. I'd tone that down a bit if I were them. I know they have no control over the paparazzi. But they do have control over the articles they are featured in. But hey..everyone should have moved on by now. Don't you think? But I do feel Jen's pain at times. It would be difficult to have to see and read and hear about them all the time.

The white is nice, but completely impractical. It gets dirty so fast. I've also discovered that regardless of my cycle, my period will start spontaneously when I wear white pants. I live in constant fear of the unnoticed red spot so I NEVER wear white waist down.
