Some of the people behind the year's biggest movies — Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin from No Country For Old Men, Diablo Cody who wrote Juno and George Clooney — came out in LA for the AFI Luncheon today. Thankfully we're still getting our fill of the most hyped and applauded actors in fancy suits, even though the award season is looking more and more bleak by the day. At least it's not for long if George has anything to do with it — rumor has it he has offered to set up a strike mediation panel with the help of his buddies like Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg. Well, if anyone can do it, it's gotta be George, right? Oh, and you know not that I'm implying anything, but this is another event with no Sarah Larson by his side. Just saying.
