We haven't been shy about expressing our sadness over the loss of the Golden Globes last night. The short press conference and NBC's news-magazine broadcast couldn't take the place of the red-carpet fashion and acceptance speeches, and the ratings reflected that. Now we want to know what you think — did you miss the Globes last night?

Yes, I miss It
1yes i missed the glamour of it. like whos wearing what, the interviews, etc.
2I didn't even watch the broadcast. I just checked online for the updates. I really did miss all of the glitz and glamor. The globes have always been my favorite awards show to watch because they aren't quite as formal as the Oscars and because they award both film and television. This writers' strike is really beginning to affect so much in pop culture. I'm interested to see how long it will last and what kind of agreement both sides eventually reach.
3I didn't watch it!
4Yes. Globes are the best, everyone's drinking and loose and having a good time.
Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell... not having a good time. Ugh.
And I feel really bad for the winners who were cheated out of the visual recognition, and also missed their chance to acknowledge others who helped them achieve it. Also for those who may have won their only Globe and didn't get to give a speech.
5i don't really care that much about it, but of course i miss those stars walking on the red carpet. (It's a classic of the cinema
) I just really never gave much importance to the shows. I prefer the movies =*
6there was really no point in airing anything.
7if people really want to see who won, they can just go online.
oh well...hopefully the strike will end soon.
I loved this year's Golden Globes! Short, sweet, and to-the-point, just like popsugar said! I was watching a movie at the same time, so I kept switching back and forth between channels, but I def. watched it and loved it. There are too many award shows being broadcast during the year, why not get rid of one of them? I had never watched a full Golden Globes broadcast until last night, and if it goes back to the regular ceremony, I will not be watching.
8Didn't watch...then again I never do. I usually look online the day after to see what people were wearing and who might have won an award that I liked.
9Nop and they should do the same with the Oscar's. Quick and to the point.
10Meh, I missed it.
11I ate dinner with my family instead.
why would anyone read popsugar that isnt interested in the globes? its everything celebrity blogs are about!
12As much as I loved how damn short it was, but I missed the red carpet looks and the interviews and the funny live speeches. It was awkward watching people speed up on the winners. I was bored to death watching Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell presenting. Could they have ruined it anymore?
13actually, no I didnt miss it at all.
14I didn't miss it. I wouldn't have watched it anyway. I'm a bit over all the awards shows. It is fun to see what they were wearing the next day online though.
15of course i missed the whole interviews ,the best dresses and the worst ,i missed seeing george cloony in the red carpet i wjust wish not to happen again i mean that writers's strike.
16I am a sucker for red carpets, so I def missed it.
17I watched it with the mute on... After Billy Bush said 'boutique show' three times in five minutes when describing 'Weeds', 'The Wire', and 'Entourage' I just could not deal with him or Nancy O'Dell any longer..
I was psyched about the Mad Men wins but the movie catagory was a puzzle.
18I missed the dresses and the drunken acceptance speeches. It is my favorite award show for that reason.
19yes
20I only watch for the fashion anyway. I like seeing the dresses and hair and makeup more than seeing who wins.
21I missed it... They better not cancel the Oscars!
22No. I didn't miss the ceremony. If this were the Oscars though, that would be another story.
23Yes, we don't have cable.
24I forgot to watch the Golden Globes. It was the first year that I forget this!
25How the Golden Globes was? Fun? Boring? Short? How?
26I was very upset that they cancelled the Golden Globes. The one time Johnny Depp wins for Best Actor and none of us get to see or hear his acceptance speech? Grrr.
27I liked it. I usually get bored with those very very long ceremonies.
28I was disappointed with the fact Viggo Mortensen didn't win...he is so damn good in Eastern Promises (no, I'm not saying this because of *that* scene, his performance is absolutely fantastic during the whole film).
29Wicked, didn't Johnny win best actor for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean? I'm going to check.
30Yes, you're right. He has been nominated eight times: Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, Pirates 1 & 2, Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd, but won only once. I'm also surprised the best actor in the world has never won an Oscar (and has been nominated only twice!!!!).
31noo...but its not like i watch it anyways
32i just skim through the list and watch the gowns...and go to sleep!
I didn't miss the speeches but I missed the duds
33Yes; it was so boring without the funny speeches and gorgeous gowns (and eye candy men aka Johnny Depp and Lee Pace.)
34My favorite part was when they would announce the winner and then immediately insult and bash them.. like I cannot believe they won.. so and so had such an awesone performance.. and whats her name rocked.. oh well goes to show ya..
I could just picture the winner at home saying "OH F@%K you Billy Bush"
That was horrible.. bad enough the actor/actress isn't there to pick up the award..but man add insult to injury!! I wanted to jump through the screen a b*tch slap them both at times!
35I didn't even know it was on to be honest. I saw on the news (later on) who actually won.
The only part of the Globes that I actually like is to see what everyone is wearing and who they are with. I would be content with just going online and finding out who won.
36Yes, I did miss it, since the strike.
