i wouldnt say "unsexy" but diffrent looking. and it how come it seems like the ones with the bomb ass shape likes food the most? that always puzzles me.

I think that poll was absolutely horrible, and it just shows how image obsessed our culture really is. I mean, I know I'm guily because I feed into as well, but wow ... is an "unsexiest" poll really necessary?

I think the fact she isn't the 'typical' ideal of beauty is what makes her special. She is cute and seems to have an awesome personality.

SJP isn't smokin sexy like Angelina but her features are distinctive and unique. I find her very attractive but I can see how her look may not appeal to everyone. From all the interviews I've seen with her, her true beauty comes out in her warm, gracious and charming personality.

I've always liked SJP. She is a strong, classy and yes beautiful in her right. She is right in her statement about who are the judges and why would they vote her as the unsexiest but considering it was Maxim? or some mens magazine that appreciates women with big boobs and low IQ. Rather than the whole package of a woman. I would think a 'normal' man would appreciate SJP's wit, class, and style...but whatever...

Most actresses her age and younger are rated on their desirability. She's set up as a particular target for that kind of criticism because she was on "Sex & the City," where she played a columnist who talks about sex and relationships. She must know by now that she is not a conventional beauty, but who wants to be reminded of it all the time?

It's funny how the media will publish something catty, rude, and potentially hurtful and then turn around and compassionately ask, "And how does that make you feel?" And the target celebrity has no choice but to answer, so that the now compassionate media can turn around and sell the star's hurt feelings/outrage/indifference/whatever. That part of fame must really suck!

I think SJP's look is distinctive which makes her sexy in her own way. I personally think sexy is a state of being and internal. What Maxim readers find to be sexy is not what someone who reads for example Vogue to be sexy. Tit for Tat I guess. Personally I find a women like Bianca Jagger to be sexy but the today's standards of sexy is someone like Tila Tequila which I happen to think is gross

i actually think shes sexy--i love her body on satc, esp when shes in heels and a slinky dress! my bf is confused by her look tho, he says sometimes shes pretty and sometimes shes fug (on the show). i like her tho

That's not food. Food is something like "California white sea bass with chantenay carrots agro dolce, aioli and orange gremolata" or even "

Mixed grill: pancetta wrapped rabbit saddle, wild boar sausage and veal sweetbread spiedino".

That's food. You don't always have to have dessert but something like "Buttermilk panna cotta with caramel and blood orange" is better than cheesecake

her "cute" personality comes across bigger than her looks (imho). and like most of hollywood she looks her best after the "experts" get done with her hair and make-up. i'm surprised she would comment or even care on that list. she's successful FOR satc, hello if she didn't sell "sexy" on that show it wouldn't have been a success. she's also married to her dream man and has a son. the list was like a college frat prank, not worthy of a response.

Maxim is the same mag that would make that chav called Jordan one of their sexiest women it's a cheap GQ and FHM.

Well, I think SJP is sexy and attractive. It has a lot to do with the way she carries herself, and expresses herself. She's intelligent, thoughtful, and kind. She's comfortable in her own skin. To me, that's sexy.

Maxim has little credibility with me. It seems like a magazine run by frat boys.

I found her food comment interesting. People who restrict their eating tend to be enamored by food. Food is all they think about (due to deprivation). Maybe this is how she stays thin, and yet find anything related to food "pleasurable." JMHO.

I really love SJP! She is a great actress and I think she is really attractive! Maybe not drop-dead gorgeous, but lovely, approachable and warm.

i love her. always have. even when she was on square pegs! and even though she may not be a conventional beauty, i think she is smokin!! her body is to die for!! strong and sexy. she has a good head on her shoulders and it's nice that she has lasted so long in the business but still remains down to earth.

Dare I say that men who read Maxim probably don't have an appreciation for a woman like her. Her beauty is unconventional. She's not the type who would be on the cover spread-eagle in a bikini.

I think a lot of us who watched SATC religiously really grew to find her more and more beautiful, plus her character was so cool!

It's true when you watch it you do find her more attractive. I think she is really pretty though it's just somtimes she does herself up very high fashiony and it can look weird sometimes. On the other hand there are times you look at her and its like wow she is really pretty. I remember seeing her at some award show and she wore this black dress and had her hair back in this bun and me and my sister said wow she is really pretty.

I really hate the negativity on her being unsexy. Whoever made that list?! She's not unsexy at all! Unsexy is someone without class, style and personality. To me she represents all of tose things. I love her and I think she's great!

Also I think there is a thing like girl hot and guy hot. Girls think girls are pretty when there fashionable, and guys are just all a/b the body I think. In cosmo they rate girl celebs and ask what girls think are hot and what guys think are hot.

It's funny because clearly men and women think diffrently. It does not surprise me that a magazine like Maxim said she was the unsexiest we all know that they are looking for over the top well endowed pop tartlets, and the like.
