Tom and Katie put on their best sunglasses (you know, because NYC is so bright even after sunset) to meet up with Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld for dinner last night. The Seinfelds decided to dress down a bit for the occasion, but luckily Tom and Katie were fancy enough for all. The foursome didn't make a late night of it though, because Katie got up bright and early this morning to join her Mad Money co-stars in ringing the bell to open NASDAQ in Times Square. Those ladies have been everywhere promoting the film, but it's still not even close to being your first choice at the theaters this weekend.

Katie's character says, "I hate being smart." Har, har. Not.
10Ugh..Katie or Kate (Whatever) looks so old. She isn't the type of person to pull off the glamorous fashion look. She looks like a little girl playing dress up. I don't think she's at all pretty and the matching mother/daughter haircuts is lame.
Sorry for the rant...there's just something about her that drives me nuts! She's just too phony!

19I think she looks so akward with all the "chic" dressing and hair she's sporting. It just does not suit her. She looks like a little girl trying to play dress up. 22K, on the topic of T&K - is everyone in the industry scared of the scientologists or something? I caught Showbiz Tonight talking about the Morton book. The two guests and aj hammer seemed to be appalled that Morton would write such "lies" in this book. I was also watching the Meredith Viera's Today Show interview with Morton and she seemed a little hostile while asking him questions too. I know reporters are supposed to grill people but I don't think I remember an interview where she seemed to be that tough.

25Does anyone else think it's INSANE that three actresses from a dopey movie are ringing the NASDAQ morning bell? That's a huge honor, usually granted to the elite money-makers in the financial community. Ridiculous. My guess is that Katie Holmes will be hopping a private jet down south for political talks with Chavez next month.

35i saw them on my bloomberg tv ringing the bell this morning (i work in finance) and when they went back to the bloomberg reporters ( a man and a woman) the man goes "such and such (the woman reporter's name) just said how Katie Holmes looks like Liza Minelli here" i just about died laughing! the poor woman reporter was mortified and was like "i did not say that!" trying to cover up lol
