Yesterday we read all about celebs ringing in the New Year in warm sunny places like Miami Beach and Cabo, but some opted for the traditional ski vacation as well. The upscale resort of Aspen, Colorado was the top choice of many including one of our favorite couples Heidi Klum and Seal along with their three children. Here's more:

The glamorous model and mother of three Heidi Klum ushered in the New Year with a romantic smooch with husband Seal at a party in the mountain village. The loved-up duo, who welcomed their third child - Johan - at the end of November, were spending the festive period in the luxurious resort with their young family.

The mountains hold a special appeal for the fashionable pair, as Seal proposed to his German love at the Canadian ski resort of Whistler in an igloo built specially for the occasion.
