Britney was so tired she basically passed out at her own NYE party so perhaps the latest news is a good way to kick off the new year. Britney is apparently getting some serious rest at a fancy spa in Arizona. Who wouldn't want to start the year off relaxing and getting massages. However, some are wondering if this is just a pit stop on her way to rehab. The Scoop reports:
The “Oops, I Did It Again” singer reportedly checked into an exclusive spa “for some R&R” — and some are wondering if the a third “R” — rehab — is in store.
Spears quietly checked into Sanctuary, a spa in Arizona, on New Year’s Day, according to Life & Style weekly.
“With these celebrities, ‘exhaustion’ sometimes means something else and a little rest at a spa sometimes actually translates into something a little more serious,” says a source.
Spears’ rep couldn’t be reached for comment, but L&S reports that the singer’s parents are urging their daughter to go into therapy.
Brit told reporters at her NYE party in Vegas her New Year's resolution was to "Stop biting my nails. Just to take care of me more." Who knew Britney and I had the same resolution. I've been trying to quit biting my nails for 30 years!

You know, Pop, I bit my nails from the time I had teeth until I was 19. Then I JUST. STOPPED. It was crazy. I like to think it was just myself, but it may have been the hyponsis CD I listened to while I fell asleep.

7I just hope -spa or rehab- she gets all the rest she needs and then comes back with a vengence... everyone that's saying she's done and won't have a comeback, have you not learned ANYTHING about that well-oiled machine that is Britney Spears? She knows exactly what to do to get people back on her side and she will. She's extremely smart, as are her "people" and they know that all they have to do is snap their fingers and Britney will be working out again, looking hot again, wearing sexy outfits, etc. and the world will love her once again.

20ok, so its my first day back from long vacation and i know i have missed good oppertunities to defend my good ol' Brit! but better late than never! As some as you know i went to Vegas for new years..on my way back to my room in Cesars Palace my dear ol' Brit was being escorted out of PURE(not being carried like some reports) but she was walking..she wasn't stubling or anything..she looked really really tired so maybe thats all it is, the past months(yes i dont agree with the way the 'mother' has been acting)she has been acting crazy and i think it is just all finally catching up to her! I didnt want to take my new digital camera out to the strip with all those crazy people so once i get my throw away camera developed i will post pictures!

28I doubt if it is rehab rehab, like intensive in-patient rehab. But it prolly is some kind of spa/self-help/self-actualization thingy.

30If it is the Sanctuary in Paradise Valley its not a rehab unless she has a private team coming in to exercise her person demons. It is an exclusive incredibly beautiful resort and spa surrounded by mountains. I love that area.. here is the link.

I'm sorry, but I have not one shred of respect left for her. She needs to find herself a good therapist and be a Mom to her kids.
I saw that she's thinking about adopting. What person in their right mind would give a child of any age to her to raise? She's not even mothering the two she already has.

34I don't know about that killer comeback people keep talking about. There are a lot of articles out this week saying the 5 songs she recorded for the new record so far are not very good and Jive records has it on hold while they try to decide what to do with her, and all the bad press, photos, etc are causing them to rethink how much money they want to invest in producing a record that might not sell.
Haven't seen any reports of her in the studio lately, so I guess we'll see.

45Brit is so asking to loser her kids to that loser FedEx. I never thought I'd say that. She has her priorities so screwed up that I almost think her kids might be better off with someone else. She needs to forget the career for a year and focus on getting divorced, settling into being a single mom, and freakin' grow up. Having a record come out and then a tour, dragging her little babies all over the place while a nanny takes care of them and she ho's herself out isn't what she needs.
