Sarah Michelle Gellar gets comfy in couture for this week's issue of Parade magazine out to promote her new movie The Air I Breathe. Does anyone else think she's channeling Mischa Barton just a little in that first photo? Random. In the interview she talks in little bits about her new movie and that name change everyone is talking about. Here are highlights:
- On her name: “My friends know me as Prinz, but I’ll answer to just about anything. Sometimes people mistake me for Sarah Jessica Parker, and I answer to that too.”
- On her new movie: “I’ve seen a close-to-final cut...and my gut reaction is tough to say or to be objective about. But, oh, what a cast!”
- On turning 30: “That was a traumatic year...I think 30 is really, really young, but I have accomplished a few things.”
That's not exactly a rave review for her own movie, but maybe she's just being coy? And while we're still getting used to Sarah Michelle Prinze, it sounds like if you stick to Sarah and two other names, it's fine by her.

3at first i did think it was mischa so i was going to skip this post until i went back and read the title. lol

5It's crazy, she doesn't seem to age at all! She still looks as young as when she was in Buffy..
I can see a little bit of Mischa but I would have never thought that on my own. She does not looks anything like SJP. She looks really pretty in these pictures.

18she and freddie confuse me a little bit. i think that it's great that she's coming back into acting a little bit more - it's been way too long since she's done something memorable. as for the name change - it's about time - they've been married forever - and i think that it's nice to change your name - even if you're in hollywood
19It's nice to read that she's still with Freddie. I hope their marriage lasts. I like how grounded and friendly she is. Being an old Buffy fan, I'm glad to see her (and her husband) out in public every now and again.

21ilanic13: I can understand why she may have waited so long to change her name professionally/legally. I've been married several years and have yet to change my name. I may never take my husband's name, not out of dislike for his name or disrespect to him, but because I am proud of my maiden name and am quite attached to it. He has no problems with my feelings and decision on the matter. Besides, name-changing can be messy, and can sometimes hinder your job in a profession where you've already established a name for yourself.

24Oh, and "The Air I Breathe" is an absolutely AMAZING movie. It's a well acted, well told story that might be confusing to some, but if you really pay attention, you will be mesmerized. And Sarah Michelle was simple stunning.
25I've been married for awhile too and I will still answer to either name. I don't think its a big deal. Definitely not a measure on the happiness in a marriage
I love Buffy and everything Sarah does is wonderful! So glad to see her out in the public again!

34She looks nothing like Misha Barton, infact, I think that is an insult. Sarah Michelle is much more elegant, classier, and polished- she is the postergirl for feminine lady of Hollywood.
Misha has no style and is frumpy - for her young age and her amount of money she could be shopping at other places besides the Salvation Army
35Sarah Michelle is more Country Club, Sarah Jessica is more NYC Chic (Cool, down to earth) and Misha is more dive bar, thift-shop girl.

37I like her, I think she's got a nice look (and by look I mean her style). On another note, does anyone remember her on Swans Crossing! What a throw back (don't know why I thought of that btw).
38What's with the blonde and blue-eyed thing? I guess that happens to everyone after living in So Cal for so long. I think she looked better as a brunette with her puppy dog brown eyes. She looks washed out this way.

46ShootingStar - She doesn't have brown eyes and has never had brown eyes. Her eyes are naturally green/hazelish and definitely green in these photographs.
