Katherine Heigl has been busy in New York promoting her new movie, but she found time on Friday morning to do some shopping. Katherine's big break came with her role on Grey's Anatomy but her movie career has stepped up a notch with Knocked Up and now 27 Dresses. Her latest flick comes out this weekend so tell us: Do you prefer Katherine Heigl in movies or on TV?

Movies.... she is soo goofy in movies, I love her
Both
She's going to burn out and no one will remember her. Just like the annoying new girl at school who is popular for a week because nobody knows her yet. Booooo!
xoxo
There needs to be a 'Not at all' choice. She annoys the living hell out of me.
Chelly- I'm with you. She's fantastically annoying on any size screen. I liked her in Knocked Up but then she talked smack about it (even though she clearly CHOSE the role) so bleh on her.
couldn't agree more Trixie6! - she's an irritant of the highest calibre! aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh
i feel like with movies she always does the same thing - so i prefer her on the small screen....maybe if she takes on a few different types of roles in movies i'll be able to change my opinion
I like Katherine. She can be funny but is also a woman you can take seriously. It seems she has a brain and a good personality.
I love her in Both. She did the "Loves comes Softly" series on the Hallmark Channel and she was so GREAT in that role, but then she can turn around and play a character like in Knocked Up and just have you cracking up. She's versatile and I love it! As long as she doesn't try to sing, I'll be happy. LOL TOO MANY STARS are trying their hand at singing. I have a bit of advice. JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN ACT DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD SING!!!!!!!
Big screen but I think she will be type casted for the same roles.
i don't like her at all ...
I prefer her on 'no screen at all'. I don't know what all the hype is about her!
I'd prefer her waiting on me at the corner coffee shop.
Yeah, there should definitely be a "not at all" option. This girl bugs.
I honestly think she is pretty but seriously not a good actress... so I agree with Pad, I would like her to be my waitress and I would probably give her a big tip cause she's cute! hahahaha jk
I think she is a good actress. She is very realistic, and has great timing for comedy.
I wouldn't worry about her getting type cast. She has her own production company, and she will be able to create the roles she wants to play. With this movie doing so well, she will certainly get more offers as well. 2 movies in a row that are hits is a pretty good track record in Hollywood.
I would prefer her asking me "would you like an apple pie with that" at Burger King.
I'm not sure what it is about this girl, maybe it's because I find Izzie so irritating, but Katherine Heigl is beyond over rated.
I'd prefer her not on the screen whatsoever.
i agree with Trixie, i can't stand her!
Both! I like her as an actress...but she drives me crazy off screen.
i don't know why...but something about her bugs me. it's really cute that she's embracing the whole "star" thing though. hanging out in places notoriously known to be paparazzi hang outs. i think it's cool when a celebrity embraces the photographers instead of complaining about them.
I agree with Trixie6
Her interview on Letterman really turned me off of her. She was so pompous and she's also just really shiny!
I like her for both but I think her fame is getting to her head. She seems a bit stuck up in interviews now. But I could be wrong!
Definitely both! I love her as Izzie, and I loved both Knocked Up and 27 Dresses (see it!)
neither.
she is stoling j aniston and cameron diaz title of american queen of romantic comedy and she is doing great at box office:
if i was her i woulb be happy too:
WEEKENd ESTIMATES: 'Cloverfield' grabs $18.25M Fri & headed for $54.75M 4-day MLK weekend!; '27 Dresses' w/$8.6M & likely $30.7M OW; Woody Allen's 'Dream' tanks with $1K PTA; Pam Anderson's 'Blonder' is DOA
FRIDAY NIGHT: Paramount's 2008 is off to a spectacular start. The J.J. Abrams-produced Cloverfield has delivered a monster opening day of an estimated $18.25M, and it will easily coast to both the all-time January 3-Day record and the all-time 4-Day MLK weekend record. The Friday number is a tough call because there's no clear answer about where Paramount will add Thursday post-midnight sneak preview business. That means that there's a slightly larger margin of error in my Early Friday Estimate than usual.
The new company Overture has disappointed with its first release, Mad Money. With a cast that includes Oscar winner Diane Keaton, Oscar nominee Queen Latifah and the increasingly creepy Katie Holmes, the caper/heist comedy managed only $2.25M on Friday, and it'll stumble to an estimated $8.2M 4-day, only no. 7 for the period.

sorry:
Paramount isn’t the only studio celebrating this weekend. Fox’s 27 Dresses, starring Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, Knocked Up), has far exceeded industry expectations by “walking down the aisle” with $8.65M on opening day, which should translate to a $26M 3-day and a 4-day long weekend of approximately $30.7M. That will make this tepidly-reviewed romantic comedy the all-time seventh-biggest January opening and the all-time no. 4 MLK weekend 4-day opening.

i say neither
Both!
NEITHER!!!!!!!! Can't stand this chica!
NEITHER!!!!!!!! Can't stand this chica!
She annoys me as Izzy on Grey's Anatomy, but I enjoyed her in Knocked Up.
Neither! bleh.
i prefer not to see her at all
Neither... so over her!
neither, i can't stand her!
neither. i find her fake and annoying and i can't wait for her 15 minutes to be up. i think she has about a minute left thank goodness.
neither, actually i kind of wish she'd just go away. it's too bad though, she was ok before they went and made izzie the dumbest character on the show. didn't like her in knocked up, but maybe that's because i didn't like the completely unrealistic plot of the movie, although i'm pretty sure her character might actually have been the worst part about the film.
I like her on the big screen in her character roles. She's very funny. But she bugs me when she's not acting!
I prefer big screen KH to small screen. The have made Izzy unlikable on that show.
Can I prefer her on the dark screen?
how 'bout...PASSS!!
I don't really care for her on either screen. Knocked Up was an unfunny, misogynist male fantasy piece and Grey's Anatomy is just too, I don't know, I just don't like it or the cast.
definitely both
Neither - she bugs me.
neither! GAH! she was my least favorite character on grey's and i have hated all her movies
i will be glad when this broad is gone. i am sick of her. beyond overrated.
Big screen, I saw 27 Dresses today and LOVED it. I do not find her annoying anymore.
Katherine who?!?!?! That's how unforgettable she is. Enough already!
