Taylor Hicks has released his self-titled debut album and he's now going on tour. He kicks off his first show in February in Jacksonville, Florida and while he told MTV that he hopes it will last 10 years, the dates are only scheduled through April 27th in Kansas City. We wonder if he will make any guest appearances on AI this season.

He looks old and crusty. Don't blame it on the hair. Anderson Cooper is 100% silver and I'd get on that ANY DAY. Wouldn't touch Taylor with Paris Hilton "goods."
8I like this dude, he is definately an entertainer with a nice soulful cajun thing goin' on. He's way younger than he looks, he says he's been gray for years and just has an older look.

10Taylor is 85% personality and rest is talent.. and his singing style is not really mainstream.. its like cajun, blues, ahh I don't know..part Joe Cocker and part small town blues club sound. Hard to explain. I just like him and his style.
11lol i'd say personality goes hand-in-hand with his talent. i'd say he's 100% of both. he's able to capture a younger crowd into music that has sorta fallen by the wayside with larger record labels... i'm up for anything that takes these sort of cats mainstream...

13I'm glad that Taylor Hicks is touring, I was really rooting for him on American Idol. I like Katharine's music better, though. I would go to her concert, but I probably wouldn't go to Taylor's.

You have to see him in concert, because pictures don't do this guy justice.. He is drop dead gorgeous !!
