Reese graces the February cover of British Glamour looking a lot more like her cute sunshiney self than she did for Marie Claire a few weeks ago. Her adorable smirk is more than enough to sell magazines, which is a good thing because in the article she talks about how she'll never take her clothes off for a photoshoot. Reese also talks about how she keeps a level-head in Hollywood, and how her Oscar has opened doors for her. Here are highlights:
- On using nudity to promote films: "If [actresses] take their clothes off, they objectify themselves. I am flabbergasted by how many legitimate actresses do it."
- On tinsel town: "Hollywood is one of those endless competitions. It's a race towards nothing. I just want to be the best version of myself that I can be."
- On the roles she picks: "I would never have been offered these kind of roles. There was also a lot of pressure after [winning an Oscar]. People wanted me to do a really big movie and I just wanted to do something more sort of personal and real."

And this is why this A-list actress continues to be such a good role model for young starlets in addition to being a great one for Ava and Deacon.

1She is simply gorgeous ... though I just think she and Jake look odd together - mostly because her and her ex-husband were just too, too beautiful together. And their children - what an awesome gene pool they came from!
2She is so pretty, oh so pretty!
3She is awesome. She is a great idol for teen girls and a ery talented actress. Go Reese!
4She is awesome and she seems to be a great role model and mother.
5is that a stain on her face? or is it just my screen? hmmmmm.
anywho.. beautiful!
6I can reassure Reese that no one and I mean no one wants to see you naked.
7Is this a new interview? If it is she really needs some new material. I am so sick of her judgemental attitude about nudity after she got her break taking off all of her clothes in her early movies.
Also, Rendition had Oscar bait written all over it. That was her post Oscar choice. Penelope was already well on it's way to being made before she won the Oscar. She filmed in April of 2006.
8"Hollywood is one of those endless competitions. It's a race towards nothing. I just want to be the best version of myself that I can be."
...
I love that and I love her! :c)
9Really, Reese...LOL. I'm also flabbergasted that many of her early movies featured scenes of her being deflowered...if you don't want to do nude scenes, fine...but to be so "flabbergasted" by seeing "legitimate" actresses doing such....RIGHT!!!
10Meh. Not a fan.
11hey! whats that on reese's face??? am i the only one who sees it?
12Hmmm...if I remember correctly, Reese was topless in the 1998 film "Twilight." How hypocritical. She should think back on her career beginnings before she gets so self-righteous!
13I love her facial expression on the cover!
14she's such a cold fish.
15Kudos for sticking to her personal no-nudity rule since her early movie(s), but she's wrong to judge any actress who willingly goes nude for a role that she thinks requires it.
16It's really odd how 'normal' is a breath of fresh air today.
17To those b*tching because of her feelings on nudity: People can change their views. When she did it, I doubt she did it because that was the only way she could get the part.
I think she was talking about actresses who get naked in magazines to promote films, not actresses who play parts that require nudity for the character. I see what she's saying but it is a bit preachy. I've always liked and expected Reese for her openly feminist ideals, but I don't think blanket statements like that read well in such interviews. Save it for your memoir, Reese!
18I think she is great, and I think she is beautiful.
19i see it too! at first i stated to clean my screen, but then as i rolled down i saw it was part of the picture.
20I guess Reese is so big and has done so many movies, she forgot about a little film named 'Twilight'...check ya self
21Well la-dee-da your majesty. I guess those actresses weren't lucky enough to get roles in such timeless fare as "Sweet Home Alabama" or "Little Nicky".
22Is this true???
Didnt' she get "knocked up" when filming Cruel Intentions with Ryan-that movie had nudity in it didn't it???
23Wow, ladies why are we name calling ---really was the b word necessary.
24I really love Reese, but she is being hypocritical. She did pose topless 10 years ago. Just because it was a while ago, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
25Ew.
26I love her! She's brain, beauty, and talent!
27As much as i adore Reese, ur all right... She was topless in Twilight.
28gorgeous clever beautiful single mom
29I like her but that is not an adorable smirk. Face it people, she has a gremlin grinch face. Same as Lauren Conrad. When they smile it looks like theyre about to snap at you and bite.
30Reese proclaims to want to be a good role model to her children and others, but sets a very bad example to all by whoring around with a guy 5 years younger than her who was never married or had kids of his own while she indeed was still married to Ryan despite the fact they had split up. If she wanted to be so self righteous about it, she should have waited until after her divorce was finalized before she took up dating anyone.
31Men shed clothes too --- sometimes, it's part of a role. She is a bit too self-righteous, and has been since she won that Oscar (not to mention her, I'm just a lil Southern girl speech. Gag me!)
32Oh and Audrina, Ryan cheated on her with that Abbie Cornish girl. The rumors are that his affair + Reese winning an Oscar ruined their relationship... soooooooo.... I think it's alright if she rebounded with Jakey once they had separated. All's fair in love and war.
