We are still in shock from today's sad news that Heath Ledger was found dead in a NYC apartment by a housekeeper. Heath was just in London this past weekend filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus — the status of the film remains unknown. The latest news is:
- TMZ reports Heath's family is saying his death was accidental and not a suicide. TMZ also claims Heath had pneumonia when he died.
- As we reported earlier, Michelle is currently on a plane. She is headed to NYC right now and is completely "devastated."
- An autopsy is scheduled to be performed tomorrow afternoon to reveal more details on Heath's health and cause of death.
- People reports Hollywood is expressing their sadness and they have quotes from fellow Aussie's Mel Gibson and Nicole Kidman and the producer of Brokeback Mountain who said, "Heath Ledger was a courageous actor, and a great soul. He gave us the gift of sharing his fearless and beautiful love – of his craft, and of all who worked with him – for which all of us will be eternally grateful."

You would think they'd have more class about someone's passing.
They have a video of them asking L. Lohan "Did you hear Heath is dead??" I mean who says that.
Profession or not, have some class and show respect.

I was absolutely shocked & heartbroken when I heard the news. He was a talented actor and seemed like such a genuine person. My heart goes out to Michelle & Matilda.

7I'm still quite shocked by his death. Although he tended to look/act a mess, he was a serious talent in an industry that is lacking in that regard. I hate to say it, but there are some people that I would not feel so bad about if they were found dead in their apartment.

I mean, I don't know, I obviously wouldn't be on here if I didn't enjoy celeb gossip as much as the next person, but you can get the gossip without harassing people who clearly don't want to be harassed. 28Obviously tact and respect is a thing of the past in the age of paparazzi. You're going to go up to someone whose close friend just died and say "Hey! Your friend died, any comment?" I don't particularly care for Lindsay, but that is just inappropriate in any circumstance. Just because people are celebrities doesn't meant they don't deserve their chance to mourn (or die, for that matter!) in private.
