Multiple Razzie Nominee (deserved?) Lindsay Lohan was back in her leggings uniform stopping to get lunch and coffee around LA yesterday afternoon. She looked understandably somber getting some comfort from her bodyguard as she, like us, reacted to the news of Heath Ledger's heartbreaking death. She and Heath were friends and vaguely rumored to have had a fling a few months ago in NYC. One photographer even felt the need to aggressively ask Lindsay how she felt about the sad news, but LL didn't have any comment. As someone who (obviously) doesn't know Heath personally, it's unbelievably sad — I can't imagine how hard it must be for all his friends and loved ones both in Hollywood and around the world.

9yeah if she made a statement they might stop hounding her, but we have no idea what their relationship to eachother was like, or what she's going through now. Why should she share or be expected to share her greif with the world?
10I never said she was expected to do anything. I'm just saying that, unfortunately, the paps have already shown themselves to be completely callous throughout the whole situation. There's no evidence that they'll stop being dicks any time soon.

Plus, it bugs me when people make public statements instead of sending the family private regards. Much like Lindsay with Robert Altman, although at least Mel didn't mispell his statement.

19I think Lindsay is a hell of a lot more human than Helena who is making numerous statements about how she was "on her way over" to visit him. I mean it's just ridiculous. If you are friends/had a fling/whatever...it's going to hit you hard. It hit all of us hard and we've never even met the guy. I think Linds probably just found out when the first picture was taken.

the news didnt hit SoCal till around 3:30pmish...so maybe lindsay was out doin stuff when she heard the news. I DOUBT she was out and about, trying to look weepy. I think she's genuinely sad, as most are.

Damn..why can't they just send their wishes to Michelle and that precious baby and his family for now (the only ones who really matter right now)and maybe after everything has died down..then they can try to get attention from their conversations with him.

44In redemption...the paparazzi and reporters do this ALL the time. They question other celebrities about their feelings on other celebrities ALL the time.
