Violet Affleck had some very important things to point out to her mom Jennifer while the two were out and about in LA yesterday. It seems the family took a day off from their house-hunt, and could it be because they found something that they loved? Rumor has it that one of the places that caught their interest is a $20 Million Bel Air mansion that used to be owned by Meg Ryan and the Beckhams almost bought last year. Not too shabby, of course. I'm sure no matter where they end up, there will be plenty of room for Violet to run around and explore — not that it could ever take the place of her favorite parks.

I agree, HOWEVER, for some people dressing up" comes more naturally while others are all about throwing on a tee, sweathshirt and jeans (like Garner here) and may or may not vary beyond that.
That said, too many Jen Garner fans point this out about her and set it as some golden standard and it's also a way to imply that anyone who does care must be insecure and less than the "Great Garner"
It's just another way to put down other celebrities with their own individual style and standards. Haven't you ever had one friend that was like Jennifer Garner? And then another friend that was like, say, Jessica Alba, Beyonce, Posh Spice, Salma Hayek or Ashlee Simpson? (insert whatever celeb you want)
I'm just saying we don't have to put down every other star as shallow or always trying to "impress".... And dressing down doesn't prove anything either. It doesn't say anything about someone's mothering or personal security that they dress plainly, it doesn't make them better or worse. So I can come and comment that Jenn looks great but I don't need the part that goes "...She doesn't feel the need to impress everyone all of the time."
Just sayin'....
