The fabulous Annie Leibovitz has teamed up with Disney again to shoot the "Year of a Million Dreams" gift promotion ad campaign. In 2007 it was Becks, Beyonce, and Scarlett, and this year Annie's gathered a new group of famous faces to recreate scenes from Disney movies. Gisele joins Mikhail Baryshnikov and Tina Fey (as Tinkerbell — brilliant!) in a scene from Peter Pan, while Jessica Biel takes on the role of Pocahontas (perfectly cast as well). J Lo and Marc are on Aladdin's magic carpet, while Whoopi Goldberg's a Genie in a Bottle. We're used to seeing our favorite celebrities in different roles, but it's always fun to see them reinterpret the classics.

17I am sad that they took one of most renown ballet dancers of all time, and made him look stiff and awkward! If you are going to cast someone graceful as Peter Pan, at least let him look like he is actually flying.

Actually, Jessica Biel is of Choctaw descent, so she is part Native American.
And Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony are Puerto Rican playing Arabian.
Giselle is Brazilian playing and English girl.
Mikhail Baryshnikov is Russian playing a boy that doesn't want to grow up.
I don't see a big deal here.

32jmast - what an awesome comment!!! I adore this series, I adore Annie's work but I have to agree with most, last year was better. Maybe it's because we're seeing behind the scene shots but I totally agree juju - Baryshnikov looks terribly stiff - come on, it's Baryshnikov!!! - he's as graceful as it gets. Jesicca looks stiff too but I remember this is how the Disney movie has Pocohontas running from a side shot, very stiff like.
Still, we're talking Annie Leibovitz here, the woman is amazing!

They should have cast Jessica Biel as John Smith instead of Pocahontas. She is soooo masculine. And I agree. Pocahontas should have been someone that looked Native American.
I don't know why everyone hates Gisele so much. She's a model, not a porn star. She doesn't have perfect features. Most models aren't drop dead gorgeous. I think she's beautiful.

47some months ago there was a POLL on the Disney site and they asked people to vote and PEOPLE voted to marc and jennifer as ALADIN & JASMIN !its how people CHOOSED!
there were other options but ...its da way it is!anyway i like them all!
