Ouch, you guys! I really like Jennifer Lopez and this is a good video, it doesn't seem skanky to me at all. Of course she wouldn't ride in this car in real life, but lots of videos have famous people doing stuff they wouldn't do in real life. Clothes, houses, cars, etc.

Also, I think you can appreciate your Hispanic background or whatever ethnicity you are from AND also still be aware of the impoverished life that you came from. I don't think that the two are mutually exclusive.

Whoa! I'm not crazy about JLo myself, but I would never claim to know who she really is. How do you know she's fug in the inside? Observing someone in the limelight doesn't mean you know how they are in their personal life and their true personality. I think some people are reading too much into this video. It's kind of scary. IMO.

Jennifer Lopez has always been beautiful. People may differ on how talented they find her but her looks have never been in question. It amazes me that people hate her as much as they do. It seems like it started after she hooked up with Ben Affleck?. I always thought he got the better end of that deal.

Christina A., Toni Braxton, and many other singers I can't remember at the moment have done Spanish language albums. Christina didn't even speak Spanish when she made hers. Is she fake too?

Wow she has Marc's singing style. Im no fan of JLo at all. Some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth enrages me as a Latina (dique "I now say hi to all of the maids I run into at hotels", pfffft). Her roots were always there to be in touch with and she chose now as a time to express them since she really couldn't fit into any other market musically and her husband just so happens to be one of the bigger stars in Latin America ... well at least he was. Knowing who Hector Lavoe is doesn't automatically make you "in touch" with your roots. Singing in Spanish does not qualify you as culturally "in tune" with your Latino heritage. If it weren't for the Selena movie I (IMO) feel that she would have never even thought of tapping into this market. She would have stayed a Fly Girl or doing movies like Money Train. I dont hate JLo per se, because hate suggests that at one point I loved her and this was never the case. I have a strong dislike for people who who*e out their heritage just to stay relevant and stay famous. When she's on MTV she uses her "Bronx" accent but yet when she's everywhere else all of a sudden she has a spanish accent. Bizzle please you are Jenny from NORTH Bronx and the only thing SOUTH Bronx you ever experienced was the stops the 6 train made to your house. Im sorry guys, I'll give her credit in terms of her INITIAL rise to stardom, but I refuse to acknowledge her as a music artist, let alone a Latina artist.

Don't get me started on her mother.... Who goes to A.C., hits the Jackpot and (with a daughter as rich as hers who Im sure has her set for life) keep the money instead of donating , at least, a small portion of it. You claim that you love your Puerto Rican heritage and the island and the people... Why don't you give back to the island which is currently at a point of almost becoming a third world country? eh.. she looks great, wonderful body, i love how she's remained true to her body type. Give us girls who have bootays some much needed boost in morale . But I thought the same thing. I can't take her seriously when she's being down to earth because I know in real life she wouldn't even think of doing those things. Its distracting.

The melody of the song is pretty non existant and it doesn't help that i can't make out all the spanish words so its not very interesting. and Im not spanish but i've been around a lot of spanish people and... her spanish accent bothers me. Anyone who is hispanic feel the same way?

Okay, I can't understand Spanish so I'm gonna take a stab at interpreting this video-- she was in love with the cool car but it made her dress in bad office wear outfits so she rebelled, drumming up courage in a gas station restroom and changing into a way cooler outfit.
She burns the car, though it breaks her heart, and is finally free to wear couture!!!
