Patrick Dempsey skipped out on last night's SAG Awards, instead choosing to put on another type of suit entirely. He went purple and white (rather than his requisite Versace, naturally) to race in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona event at the International Speedway in Daytona Beach. This wasn't his first time behind the wheel of a race car, but it was the debut of his hobby at this particular event. It looks like Dr. Shepherd's need for speed is keeping him especially busy (not that there's anything wrong with competitive beard-growing) during the strike.
