It was another messy and confusing evening at the Spears compound on a day when we learned the good news that she can speak to her boys on the phone. While there are differing reports about what exactly went down last night, here's the latest I can piece together. At about 6 p.m., Britney got in a fight in the car with her friend Sam Lutfi — something to do with her family and maybe because he felt the need to tell Barbara Walters that she's getting treatment for her mental problems. She apparently got out of the vehicle close to her house and had a bit of a breakdown on the sidewalk. She called Adnan, but he was not allowed in her gated community because Sam gave the security explicit instructions not to let him in.
She ended up at home briefly and the LAPD were called to deal with the paparazzi. Her parents showed up to try to talk to her, but she ended up splitting the scene with one of her photographer friends. She made a quick trip to Ralph's grocery store before catching up with her boy toy Adnan and hopping in his car instead. There were many tears shed, but at least both her parents are in the mix this time rather than just her two shady men that hate each other. At one point Sam claimed that the cops were after Adnan for trying to break into Britney's house, but Adnan released a statement through his photo agency giving his side of the story. Ugh, what a mess. I don't even know what else to say.

Adnan did not try to break into Britney’s house.
Anyone who claims that to be the case has been severely misinformed.The truth is that Sam Lutfi started an argument with Britney and the two ended up in a screaming fight. Sam continued to verbally abuse Britney as she sat barefoot on the curb at her Summit home crying holding her dog London.
Britney called Adnan for help and he heard the distress in her voice and drove to the Summit immediately. While outside the gates he was denied access as Sam Lutfi had informed the guards that he was not allowed entry. When Adnan then tried to call Britney it seems that Sam had turned all of her cell phones off.
Britney is safe with paparazzi photographer Felipe from Fame at the moment.

1Brit's parents need to go to court and become her legal guardian again. Their girl needs them. It just seems like an Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass nightmare for her. She doesn't know what's real and what's not real. It's just sad.

7This pathetic person called Britney should get herself a life! Get up on 7am and fill your days with useful activities, you know maybe being a good mother! Children can give you higher highs than any drug! At least getting her behind out of bed early and do some work outs while she doesn't have the kids, and I'm sure there are many little "celebrity jobs" she could do, promoting something for an example, but something that fills her days and make her feel tired in the evening so she has to sleep at night like most of us.
I'm so tired of this, it's funny I admit, but those "breakdowns" are so odd, people start feeling sorry for her and the next day she's out and about at the gas stations of this planet like nothing ever happened.

15Her hanger-on "manager" Sam is in a power struggle with Adnan, the random paparazzi she picked up on the sidewalk and sleeps with. Both are rumored to be on her payroll, for more money than she pays in child support (priorities). It's her own fault for letting these people into her home and life.

18She is looking really crazy in some of these pictures. What a get-up for starts! The red lipstick is not doing anything to help her look sane. In these pictures Britney reminds me of that really pitiful video Howard Stern took of Anna Nicole Smith dressed up as a smeary, tearful, and totally out of it clown. I have stopped feeling bad for her and agree with Julienne 100%.

Hun, if you were really interested in all those things, I don't think you'd be on this site, posting comments. So sick of people saying stuff like that. It's a given that there are bigger issues in the world, but let's be real, celebrity lives fill us with wonder because of the money quotient. Add in Brit's craziness, and is it that surprising how much we gawk at her for it? If you didn't care so much daddydo3, you wouldn't have taken the time to read the posting and comment about it.

26My heart is just breaking for this child . . . it's really sad to see her crumble before our very eyes in a very public way. And the worst thing is she's done this to herself because of her pride/stupidity (and I don't mean that insultingly) . . . . she surrounds herself with people that don't truly care for/love her. The number one thing she needs to do is GET OUT OF L.A. Go somewhere where she can have some privacy and start to rebuild her life and maybe, just maybe, she'll have a chance at stardom again. 29I do not think Sam can be arrested. If he thought Adnan was trying to get into the house without permission, then he has the right to call the police. Now, if Adnan was just walking by and Sam reported him, that would be a different story.
Her parents cannot become her guardian until someone in authority declares her incompetent. Good luck considering the hospital released her and declared she was not a harm to herself or anyone else. Lot more to it then just filing paper work, you have to get a couple of physicians to agree on the diagnosis before anything can get done. And those physicians have to be able to examine her. As long as her bills are being paid and she is not harming herself...there is nothing that can be done. Believe me I have assisted in getting people committed in a few different states.

The most shocking thing about this story is that her parents showed up. I saw the rest of it coming from a mile away. Shes becoming so predictable, and crazy just isnt crazy when its predictable.

If my heart were going to break for anyone in this situation, it's her kids. But at least now they are safe and protected in a stable home, surrounded by family who loves them, and out of the paparazzi and media eye. As it should be.

39I am not a Britney fan...but I am seeing an extreme similarity between Britney and Sam's relationship and Anna Nicole and Howard Sterns. Howard was controlling over everything Anna did....Sam is the same with Britney. It's very scary.
40She really needs to get rid of Sam, he is hurting her more, not helping her. Why does he get to decide who is and who isn't allowed past the gates. Its not like he owns a house there. He's jealous of Adnan because he takes priority over him in Britney's life and he can't control her as easily.

Please....this whole situation is sad and insane. I can not believe how much this is turning into The Truman Show, where the whole world is watching her life moment by moment and may untimately witness her death.
