While Victoria was bundling up the boys in Boston, David was in Brazil at the opening ceremony of his "David Beckham World of Sport" complex in Natal. The facility includes a huge soccer area in addition to lots of other sports amenities. It will also sponsor a scholarship program for children, like David's other soccer academies. He has high hopes for his new complex, saying,
"I don't want to teach (Brazilians) to play soccer. I want to offer a safe place for kids to develop their abilities. I am honored to be associated with this incredible project which will build world-class sporting facilities in Brazil, hopefully having a major impact at a local level and internationally."
Becks' latest project will continue to make a difference to young children around the world and we love him for it, but sometimes we wonder — do those Beckhams ever take a break?

2good for Becks. he should realize though that Brazil really does have a strong soccer program - so he wouldn't be teaching them anyway. having a safe place for them to hone their skills or whatever - that's a nice thing though.
