I felt bad for Al Roker for having to interview them at all. I will bet Meredith & Matt wanted nothing to do with Speidi and it was pushed on to Al.
I think he was a little harsh w/ them but they totally deserve it. Now Heidi & Spencer are going to make a huge deal out of it, just so that they can stay in the spolight even longer.

He absolutely was not too harsh. I watched this this morning and was so refreshed to see Al not listen to their bs and smile and nod along like most other interviews. I feel like Spencer acts crazy on the hills, i'm a celebrity..., and interviews to get press, and Heidi just goes along with it. Al wasn't having any of it and just tried to get them to be honest, FOR ONCE IN THEIR LIFE. I loved it.

I wonder if the today show was obligated to do the interview because Get Me Out of Here is an NBC show???

I think they had to have them on because i'm a celebrity get me out of here is an nbc show. Bravo I think Al may have been more aggressive with Heidi because he knew he wouldn't get Spencer to admit that he acts like an idiot so when he started talking to Heidi he was hoping she would be honest.

I watched the re-run on VH1 of that show (I'm a Celebrity...) this weekend, and it was unreal!! I didn't realize what morons Spencer and Heidi were! And I just thought Janice Dickinson and Sanjya were going to get on my nerves! NBC knocked it out of the park when they got that cast together.

These two are so beyond ridiculous. I have never wanted to smack two people across the face more than I would like to with these two. They need some common sense knocked into them. And how dare them make fun of Christianity like they were doing. I can't believe that Spencer actually believes he is that famous, I guess the jokes on him because I think they are both IDIOTS!!!!

It was great to see an interviewer not kissing their asses. Seriously, why any interviewer would suck up to them makes me sick. On The View today, Whoopi was looked visibly tortured having them on. It was awesome.

Heidi pulled the old Sarah Palin trick in the Seacrest interview. Why do these women feel the need to make it seem like men are out to attack women? Anytime a male (Roker or Letterman) says something to them that they don't want to hear, they spin it so that they look like the victims of an attack by a vicious male on a helpless "young woman," in Heidi's words. Also, Spencer attempting to insult Al Roker by labeling him "the weatherman" just demonstrates his immaturity. If he and Heidi want to play this gender-role game, he should suck it up and "take it like man." Ugh please stop posting stuff about them, it's just perpetuating their visibility, which is exactly what they want.

If Heidi is as devoutly Christian as she claims she is, what's she doing posing for Playboy? I can't see that going down too well with her pastors and other church folk. That should be her next interview question. I would love to see how she could fabricate a story behind that, although I'm sure Spencer would interject before Heidi would even have a chance to make herself look foolish.

It's a shame that a news organization feels the need to cover these two unfortunate people, but at least Al Brokaw gave an effort to speak to them rationally.

Popsugar, I know you'd feel you were unfair in censoring news involving Speidi, but until someone takes a stand and says "this is wrong", celebrity desperation is going to continue down a slippery slope in the name of news.

When you stop covering them, the demand will eventually disappear. There are more than enough people who are recognized for talent and merit. Let's focus on them.

WOW, Al Roker is amazing. When an interviewer just sits there and nods his/her head like these people are normal that person isnt a good interviewer. They really need more of that so that they realize that only people who watched the hills know who they are ...and dont even like them. Al was too nice in my opinion... Spencer and Heidi expect people to treat them with respect when they have been acting like ass---s then they must be dreaming. You can even see in the interview that Spencer was already acting like an ass at the beginning.
