Amanda Holds Her Clothes dear To Her Heart

Amanda Bynes showed off her latest designs at the launch of her new clothing line, dear, at Steve and Barry's in NYC yesterday. We're psyched to see that another celebrity is creating products geared toward young women at a price they can actually afford. First SJP's Bitten line and now Amanda's dear! According to Amanda, Steve and Barry's awesome prices were what drew her in. She said,

“From the first time I met the Steve & Barry’s folks in one of their stores, I got it – I totally got what they were about and knew I wanted to be a part of it. With dear, I think we’ve developed a lifestyle brand that girls are going to embrace. I love the fact that girls can shop for a whole wardrobe and mix it and match it in so many ways and still have money left to go out and show off their cute new looks!”

It definitely looks like Amanda has a flair for design from the first looks of her newest clothes and accessories. We can't wait to see which bargain-hunting young celebs agree with us.

Yes, there are several things going on with blackle and black google, but people tend to forget that there is more need of user interactivity then the stupid blackle itself. Now the age is of VIDEOS users are not going to shift from google to blackle just like that. There is a site named http://www.yaarii.com that gives the option to search videos as well as as the regular web search. I think I would bookmark this site , because it gives the option to see any video in the same page without moving your ass!

My god, does every celebrity have a clothing line?? I like these outfits but they look the same as what's already out there. I don't know if it can really be considered something new Amanda designed.

Generic, generic, generic. Why can't someone promote clothes that encourages individuality? I agree with so many of the other comments - she's starting to look like a plastic model of herself.

I've never seen anyone else who looks EXACTLY the SAME in EVERY freaking photo ever taken of her. It's spooky, and just not natural.

First of all, she is hideous. Secondly, she was wearing so much gross make-up on her plug for her clothing on E! that they had to blur the screen so that you couldn't get a good look at her ugliness.

She needs to lay off the makeup, she's starting to remind me of Brooke Hogan minus the orange! These designs don't really look new to me.. looks like everything else thats in the stores these days.

i really love amanda but the whole celebrity line thing botters me a lil bit. i mean they sell cheap clothes for cheap prices and then (with that money) buy themselves brand name, expensive things.

My experience with the Bitten line has been good. And I'm surprised when I read comments about how the clothes fall apart after washing. All of my pieces still look as good as the day I bought them and have been through several wash cycles.
