Amazing Race ended as it should

I love it when you watch a reality TV show and it ends the way it should (unlike the terrible Bachelorette with Jen Scheft). I am so glad it ended the way it did. The right couple won the million and they so deserved it. Congrats to Uchenna and Joyce!

I was getting so worked up last night as they were the third team to arrive in the non-elimination round and thanks Phil - we almost did not care to watch the final hour until we found out Uchenna and Joyce were still in it. Then I was practically pacing around the room when Uchenna was being the amazing gentleman that he is, by begging for money to cover the cab when he was yards away from the finish line. I really was afraid that Rob and Amber would sneak their way in but it looked like Joyce and Uchenna were well ahead.

Their excitement and gratitude for winning was another excellent display of reality TV. I loved his Cuba Gooding Jr in Jerry Maguire speech. Seriously, give the man an oscar. He loves his wife and his life and they both made me cry. I love TV!

As for Rob and Amber, I am happy they lost, but I must say he made the season full of obnoxious comments disappear when he talked about his love for Amber. It’s nice to see a man who is not afraid to be in love on national television. On the other hand Ron and Kelly were a disaster and there was definitely no love going on there. I wish they got eliminated much earlier - they were a waste of airtime.

Finally, it was great to see my favorites Lynn and Alex - as always making jokes. And the brother, I've decided they try too hard - that facial hair looked terrible and I understand they are trying to show they are goofy and fun but we get it - enough already.

CONGRATS UCHENNA AND JOYCE. Good luck making babies.

p.s. any women who shaves her head for a race deserves $1M
