All these guys listed up there had numerous excellent performances, not only one. The article says unforgettable and they're picking one for each, so why should they put more than one for one person? It doeesn't mean they had only one unforgettable performance but out of the many it's one that can be outstanding.

I agree with pretty much everything SuzinAZ said. As for "Billie Jean" don't give people incorrect information, Ryan said BEFORE David's performance that it is a Chris Cornell version. It is NOT something that come out later as you said.

Should have let us actually listen to the performances instead of talking through the whole thing. Annoying!

This list should include pretty much all of David Cook's performances, Billie Jean yes, but Hello, Always Be My Baby, Little Sparrow, etc...everything he did was brilliant which is why he won. I do not agree with idolfan though...I don't even remember half the performances they mentioned...especially Lambert and Hudson. Fantasia's performance got a lot more hype than it was worth... but I agree that it should have included Kelly and Carrie

i'm sorry popsugar, but i don't agree with most of these performances. how can you guys not include kelly or carrie??? the most successful idols. this would be my list, but not necessarily in order. kelly clarkson- stuff like that there carrie underwood - god bless the broken road adam lambert - tracks of my tears bo bice - in a dream fantasia - summertime kris allen - heartless katherine mcphee - somewhere over the rainbow jason castro - hallelujah lakisha jones - and i'm telling you jennifer hudson - i have nothing

This is a pretty good list... but a note to those viewing the video, Tamyra's unforgettable performance was listed as "A House Is Not A Home" which was not shown in the video, but WAS considered a standout performance from that seasons, and for many to come. You should check that out if you can. I LOVE Kris Allen, and his "Heartless" performance really was a standout, and a game-changer... I know I will never forget it.
