Amy Winehouse Arrested

As expected, Amy Winehouse was arrested today in conjunction with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's obstruction of justice case. Blake was arrested on Nov. 9, after allegedly "perverting justice" surrounding a case in which he beat up a bartender in June. Supposedly, Blake offered the man about $400,000 to drop the suit, yikes. This week, new evidence implicated Amy in the case and today she went into custody as scheduled. Amy may only be the second-biggest trainwreck of the year, but things are going from bad to worse for her. Though, to be fair, after canceling her tour due to being so distraught separated from Blake, maybe she's not too broken up about spending this holiday season locked up like her husband.

I would have said Amy, but to the best of my knowledge she wasn't driving drunk. That's what made my vote go to Lohan. I wonder is Amy is going to see 30. I hope she realizes that things will only get worse if she keeps on living the way she has. Right now she's young and relatively resilient, but as she gets older, her body won't be able to take the abuse she's given it. She's got a great voice, but she needs help.

that's very sad that her life is going this way. her vocal stylings make her unique, but her addictions are going to destroy her career eventually.

the fact that she's someone to whom these things can happen is probably why she can come out with such great music and lyrics. i mean, it's unfortunate, but i love that she's got undeniable talent and can turn all her angst and negativity into great music. ...

So Im guessing in your Book Britney and Paris are perfect examples of how hard work and determination can get you anywhere, right? :rotfl: Amy is very talented, and didnt get famous from connection. She got famous because she has TALENT something that is seriously lacking in the entertainment industry now-a-days.
