Amy Winehouse's Grammy Performance — Love It or Leave It?

While Amy Winehouse couldn't quite make it to last night's Grammy Awards in LA, she still performed during the show via telecast from London. It was her first big outing since saying yes, yes, yes to rehab and the night's big winner looked a lot better than she has recently. That being said, I'm sure she still has a ways to go in terms of getting better. Check out the performance below (where she changes the lyrics to "Rehab" to talk about her "Blake incarcerated") and let us know — love it or leave it?

Niqua Like Spitfire said (and for some reason it was removed) You are assuming there are people in the music industry that think she has no talent. If any one were to say she had no talent, they would lose their credibility in the industry big time!

I think she is favulous pure, raw talent. No one is perfect and evry1 has their flaws what is apparent is the fact that she is very unique and talented. Persons who are saying she leaves a lot to be desired are the same persons that are advocating for the rights of other individuals. My stance the performance was wonderful. I missed it on Sunday and had to see it. Words cannot express my admiration for this young singer. She sings with soul and can sense the fact that she is singing from a place that needs to heal. Obviously music is her therapy! GO AMY! BIG UPS TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spitfire read the comment I private messaged you. I thought your response to NIQUA was right on. I totally agree with you and don't worry about it, "some" people just don't get it. I just skip over the ones who think they know what they're talking about and move on, its better than taking up 2 pages to try and explain something to someone that, well just read my message to you. Opinions are different than FACT. It's a fact Amy has talent, she's got the Grammys to prove it :)

Spitfire I'm pretty sure some people who are in the music industry don't think she is that talented or a waste of talent! Just like how some people in the music industry don't think Beyonce' is really talented ! Everybody still has their own opinions! I hate Britney Spears' attempt at a comeback and she will NEVER EVER,NA DAH, NO WAY IN HELL will she ever compare to Miss Winehouse' voice, talent, etc.! ^^^That is my own opinion!

I have never understood the big deal about her. I have never listened to any other songs except rehab because I thought it was so freaking annoying I never gave her album a chance. Maybe the album is better than the one song. But I agree with pennylane. I was a bit creeped out. And she looked like she had to pee.

I thought she did really good - you can tell she is trying...unlike Britney did.... I can only hope that she finishes getting clean and does even better performances in the future!

NIQUA like I said, she has no talent only to the people who aren't qualified to say if she has talent or not. People who know the industry KNOW she has talent. The rest can keep buying their Britney Spears albums.

I've seen Amy Winehouse perform and she is freaking amazing. Those back up singers and the live band their is this chemistry that you can't deny. This woman gets possessed by someone I'm not sure if it's the spirit of Billie Holiday, James Brown,or Odetta but it gets her. I'll take her over that over-rated Beyonce who btw is not Tina Turner so you need to sit down and Kanye West didn't your mother just die should you not try to be a little down-to-earth if you need an award to justify what kind of an artist you are than you need to check yourself and your profession.

I don't care what anyone thinks or says but Amy's performance besides Alicia Keys saved the Grammys. Otherwise it would have been hella boring. She is who she is and she has talent and one can deny it. You can see the passion in her and that shimmy is priceless.

No way was that even remotely good. It was better then most of her disastrous performances, but still not worth the price of admission. Her improvisations were scary and that dance...Yikes! Was her performances like this before her drug use, or has it always been this scary? I can't compare without seeing how she used to perform her songs before her messy addiction. r

I love Amy with a passion but I thought she did a really bad job. Sure it was an improvement from certain performances but she did a weird job (ex: the face gestures)

SHE DOES HAVE TALENT." - Spitfire Someone saying she does not have Talent CAN be some body's opinion! They can think and feel however they want to! Anyway I am a fan of Amy but she should have just stood still or just shook her hips because all that shaking and mess was too much! ALSO I think her voice was really weird when she sang Rehab it was going in and out! Plus+ the gangsta stare and hand gestures were too much on her little frame! She could have done MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER! I will pray for her to get better and for her "incarcerated Blake!"
