The onscreen and offscreen couple met up on a fake Christmas market that was meant to mimic Union Square's famed holiday bazaar. Emma and Andrew skipped last weekend's MTV Movie Awards to stay on the East Cost and continue work on their upcoming action flick. Emma had good reason to miss the award show, as she has been pulling double-duty in the Big Apple this month. She is also working on her new film, Birdman, while taking breaks from the Spidey set.

Andrew Garfield hit the road on his Batavus cruiser bike in NYC yesterday. He had a break despite being hard at work filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with Shailene Woodley and his girlfriend, Emma Stone. Andrew and Emma had a sweet breakfast date in the city last week following Emma's many recent travels. She spent Easter in London and also made stops in Boston and LA to do press for her new animated film, The Croods. Emma's latest international coup comes courtesy of a cover spot on Marie Claire Australia's May issue, in which she opened up about the pressures of Hollywood as well as her big move from the West Coast to NYC.

Emma has been working on the film with Andrew since last month, though she recently switched gears to promote another project. Emma and her Croods costar Ryan Reynolds met up for press last week, and the duo also premiered the film in the Big Apple. They posed on the red carpet with an animated creature from The Croods, which hits theaters on March 22, and were joined by Ryan's wife, Blake Lively, as well.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone left a breakfast joint in the West Village this morning holding hands. Emma and Andrew both wore coats and hats for the outing and seemed to be in good spirits as they smiled and waved. The meal was a break for Andrew, who has been filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 all week. Andrew spent time yesterday on set doing a few stretches to warm up, and earlier this week he was back in his Spidey-suit hanging upside down. His new castmate, Shailene Woodley, also joined him on set for several scenes. Shailene will take on the role of Mary Jane Watson, while Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti are also signing on for the sequel. Andrew's on and off-screen love, Emma Stone, will return as Gwen Stacy.
