Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone left a breakfast joint in the West Village this morning holding hands. Emma and Andrew both wore coats and hats for the outing and seemed to be in good spirits as they smiled and waved. The meal was a break for Andrew, who has been filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 all week. Andrew spent time yesterday on set doing a few stretches to warm up, and earlier this week he was back in his Spidey-suit hanging upside down. His new castmate, Shailene Woodley, also joined him on set for several scenes. Shailene will take on the role of Mary Jane Watson, while Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti are also signing on for the sequel. Andrew's on and off-screen love, Emma Stone, will return as Gwen Stacy.

The actor suited up in his Spider-Man spandex on the set of the sequel yesterday, breaking to laugh at playbacks, then paired up with Shailene Woodley for today's scene. Shailene hopped on a motorcycle, with a noticeably redder shade of hair, for her role as the latest Mary Jane. She is among several new cast members signing on for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Andrew's return to his role as Peter Parker will mark the first film he's done since the first of the franchise, and his on and off-screen love, Emma Stone, will also return to her role as Gwen Stacy.
