Angelina Had A Good Mom Role Model
After a quick stop at a Toronto toy store in her Louboutins, Angie and Brad hopped back to NY to be with their kiddies. It was another whirlwind weekend for the Jolie-Pitts, but for Maddox it was right back to school on Monday morning. Angelina recently gave an interview to The Times of London and, as usual, had some lovely things to say about that adorable family of hers this time in particular about the ways her own mother shaped her. She said,
“I am my mother’s daughter. Very much so. My love of children, my values, caring about what goes on in the world, all of that comes from her. She was the most wonderful woman and a fantastic role model for me. I miss her terribly every day. I try to raise my children the way that my mother raised me. I didn’t really have a father around.”
While I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is to lose your mother, it's always nice to see a smile on Angelina's face when she's around her little munchkins.

26I'm not sure it is fair to call someone who is thin anorexic. That implies that she is purposely starving herself to be thin, and I'm not sure anyopne can claim to know that she does that.
My mother-in-law is super thin, and quite self-conscious about it. She tends to wear neutral colors and often very loose-fitting clothing to hide her weight. Perhaps this explains Angie's choice in wardrobe. Although she doesn't really stike me as the self-conscious type...
27loelei there is a difference in thin and anorexic, i am thin and in shape and far from anorexic, angie looks like your average anorexic woman, ive met people with anorexia at a clinic my sister works at she looks like a healthy anorexic person if that makes sense too you

31Not really Pink - because again - anorexic implies that she purposely starves herself, and we don't know that she does that. I would hate to think that you would call my mother-in-law anorexic on sight alone because of how thin she is.
While I agree with you that she is very skinny and could gain some weight, I just think it is unfair to pin an eating disorder on someone without having the facts

37Geez, no one is this celebrity world can win. Britney gets called out for not spending enough time with her kids and Brangelina apparently spend too much (if there is such a thing) time carrying them around. Sheesh.
38I'm sure her mom was lovely, but she shouldn't imitate her entirely. She let Angelina's boyfriend move in when she was 15 which is just ridiculous to me.

41Love this family. Angelina's relationship with her mother sounds just like my relationship with my mother. I don't have children yet but I model myself after the amazing woman who raised me and I know I will raise my children the same way she raised my brother and I. I couldn't imagine losing my mum. She is my best friend and our relationship is so special to me. I recently lost my dad and even though we weren't as close as me and my mum it was the most heartbreaking experience of my life and I would never wish this pain on anyone. I really feel for Angie.

I'm not sure why people get upset about celebs carrying their kids. Can someone shed light on that for me?
I have no kids, myself, so maybe I just don't get it, but it seems like carrying your kids wouldn't be that big a deal.

44Losing your mother is probably one of the worst feelings in the world. I wish her all the best and strength to continue doing what most will NEVER do.
She has seen things that we have no idea about and has actually done something about it. So you all can continue talking about her clothing and hair all you want. At the end of the day she has accomplished more that your whole family has.
This is one of the few celebs that has helped Haiti, (my country) and I respect her for that among other things. She is trying her best to use her fortunes to raise her kids and help other is need. That is more than most of you can say.
Some of you are disgusting and sad if the only thing you can say is that shes too skinny. I'd like to see a pic of you. We just hate to someone doing good huh?
No matter how much you hate you'll never be her so just give it up.
45i feel sorry for her, it sounds like she was pretty hurt from her past as she seems to dewl on it alot in interview, it must be really tough to lose your mum so young, but at least she was settled with her family before it happend.
