Angelina Jolie was the center of attention at last night's premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey, but the first time director pointed her praise at partner Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie told Access Hollywood that Brad Pitt played an important offscreen role in her directorial debut, acting as a sounding board for her ideas and capturing candid snapshots on set to document the process. Brad showed off his supportive side again at last night's premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey in New York. He proudly stuck by Angelina's side on the red carpet, as did Brad's parents, Jane and Bill Pitt. The foursome celebrated together at an afterparty at The Top of the Standard. It's just the latest Big Apple outing for the Jolie-Pitt family, who is on the East Coast while Angie promotes her self-described "brutal" film about the Bosnian War. This is the A-list actress's first time in the director's chair, and the glamorous star said she didn't miss getting dolled up like she does when she works in front of the camera. "I never had to go to hair and make-up and I got to hang out with the crew and I got to shine the spotlight on extraordinary actors."
