Angelina Jolie on Brad Pitt Marriage (Video)

Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw. Angelina Jolie is talking about marriage and her new directorial debut in today's PopSugar Rush. ANGELINA JOLIE: "Our commitment when we decided to start a family was the greatest commitment you could possibly have." Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have faced marriage rumors for years, but Angelina says that, in her eyes, they're already as committed to each other as they can possibly be. Angelina recently sat down with Christiane Amanpour for ABC's Nightline, where she admitted that her kids have asked mom and dad if they'll tie the knot, and she spoke about her newest project, In the Land of Blood and Honey. For more on Angelina's interview, here's PopSugar editor Lauren Turner. This is Angelina's first time directing, and she really dove right in — this is heavy subject matter. ANGELINA: "I was thinking on these international themes of violence against women, lack of intervention . . . " The film follows the war in Bosnia in the '90s, and Angelina spoke to Christiane about the importance of really doing her research and casting all local actors. Angelina is familiar with the Bosnian people and their story having visited the area several times as a UN Goodwill ambassador, and she wanted the movie's depiction to be as honest as possible. Angelina is currently on the cover of Newsweek, where she goes into even more detail about her work on the film, saying: "I listened to my cast, most of whom lived through the war. I listened to their stories and tried to incorporate it into the work." The film comes to theaters on Dec 23, but you can see Angelina's full Nightline interview tonight on ABC.
