Now that her Maleficent press tour is all wrapped up, Angelina Jolie is back to promoting causes close to her heart. The actress looked like the opposite of her villainous Disney character as she got emotional and shared hugs at the second day of the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict in London on Wednesday. On the second day of the summit, Angelina was joined by her partner, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney's fiancée, Amal Alamuddin , who was spotted ducking into the event. Angie, who frequently campaigns to raise awareness about sexual violence against women in war zones, was joined by Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague, whom she has traveled with all across the globe with the UN. In February, the two took a trip to Lebanon to visit with refugees who had been displaced due to the Syrian civil war. The plight of refugees is a particularly big issue for Angie, who also serves as Special Envoy to the United Nations' High Commissioner for Refugees.
Angie landed in England over the weekend after flying out of LA with her entire family — including Brad Pitt who wore what looked like a child-designed t-shirt of him and Angie . The trip to the UK may be particularly special for one member of the Jolie-Pitt clan, as Angie recently revealed that 12-year-old Maddox Jolie-Pitt is dating an English girl . Angie spilled the beans on Maddox's love life at the LA premiere of Maleficent, where she explained that the family tries to head off to England "as often as possible," which helps with her eldest child's cute relationship.
On the first day of the summit, Angelina embraced Esther Ruth Atim of Uganda.
Angelina walked with William Hague to visit with attendees and speakers at the summit on Wednesday.
On the second day of the summit, Brad joined Angie and William.
Amal Alamuddin also attended the second day of the summit.
