Angelina Jolie was joined by two special people in NYC this morning, Brad Pitt's parents Bill and Jane. She hung out with the Pitts while in Manhattan promoting her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey. The entire Jolie-Pitt gang accompanied Angelina to the East Coast, where Shiloh, Zahara, and Pax saw The Muppets with mom on Saturday.
Angelina's opening up to the press to talk up the new film, and covers the latest issue of Newsweek. The actress opened up about how she approached making her first film and even touched on adopting Maddox at the age of 27. Family was also a hot topic for Angelina when she chatted with Christiane Amanpour for Good Morning America and Nightline. She said the kids really want her and Brad to get married, but they explain their commitment differently. Angelina said of marriage, "The kids asked me the other day, and I asked them if it was just because they wanted to have a ‘big cake.’ They see movies that have the people getting married in the movies … you know, the happily ever after. Shrek and Fiona are married. We’ve explained to them that our commitment when we decided to start a family was the greatest commitment you could possibly have. Once you have six children, you’re committed."
