Angelina Jolie stepped on stage at LA's Hollywood and Highland Center during the Oscars this evening. She presented two awards. First was the best adapted screenplay honor, which went to The Descendants' Alexander Payne, Nat Faxon, and Jim Rash. Angelina next announced Woody Allen's best original screenplay win, though he was not at the show. Angelina hit the red carpet in a sexy black velvet Atelier Versace gown on the arm of a Tom Ford-wearing Brad Pitt. She was just one of the gorgeous ladies on the red carpet at the Oscars including Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Brad and Angelina shared the evening with Brad's parents, Bill and Jane.

Angelina Jolie is a beautiful young woman, but, she also has a lot of insecurities that go with the beauty territory, she is madly in love with one of the most sexy leading men in Hollywood, she knows that in Hollywood, thinner is better when you're a leading lady, however, in a more normal middle class lifestyle, she would be seen as awfully thin and pale faced. I think that, she is a wonderful mother and she should celebrate that with a hamburger deluxe and a milkshake. The Westchester News.Com

That was bizarre, and it was hilarious when one of the adapted screenplay winners from The Descendants made fun of this onstage.

It was as if her leg was a prop and she pulled it out each time the camera was in front of her. When she was on stage, you could even hear her foot plant on the ground, like "boom -- here it is!" It was embarrassing, and it confirmed for me that she is still all affect. I love that The Descendants guys spoofed her and called her out on it immediately.

it's like they put a wig on one of the cadavers from the "bodies exhibit" and stood it up on stage...if she wants to be skinny, at least tone up - skinny fat isn't becoming...glad her Barbizon model pose #4 finally came in handy, that was hilarious

Angelina looked very strange. I don't know which was worse the fake leg pose or the fake smile. The dress was ugly and overpowered her skeletal body.

the pose is just too weird.. she's been doing the same trick for almost the entire award season.. i don't dislike her, but i think she's stretching it..

Seriously, what's with the leg? How odd. I didn't see the show but just going through pics now and she was doing that the whole night. I hope she was drunk. I also agree that the dress is just not right for her. Too much bulk for such a tiny frame...the leg should have had no problems staying in.

Is it velvet? Is it a carpet? Why is it 6 sizes too big? The skeletal frame + the poor fit + the ridiculously in your face pose... I just don't get the appeal. I am not your gynecologist Angelina, put it away.

I love her but her posture was awful tonight...She is naturally sexy and what I love is that she doesn't have to even try to be sexy but tonight it seemed like she was trying too hard! So not like her...maybe the dress was uncomfortable? Well all that aside, she looked beautiful!
