Angelina Jolie Talking About Zahara at the Palm Springs Film Festival

How are you guys gearing up for awards season? We're focusing on birthday parties tomorrow for Zahara, and then other things in life that mean just as much, if not more. Thank you. You look absolutely gorgeous. How do you get red-carpet ready? Sorry? With your debut with directing, I mean, how exciting is offscreen, another element to your career? Well you know the nice thing is I never, I didn't approach it wanting to change my career. I just wanted to tell a story about a country that I cared about and social issues that I feel are important and so I was led by that and then somehow suddenly somebody calls you director and you think, "God, I don't know where that came from," but I just you know, I was compelled to tell this story because it means so much to me. And then I got to work with these actors from this region of the world, and I'm so excited that people are getting to know them, because there aren't a lot of people from Yugoslavia he and all of our movies and we cast a lot of Europeans but we don't tend to cast from that area and they are some of the most talented actors in on the planet in my opinion. And I feel like, you know so proved for many many reasons I'm very excited it's been working this well and I'm very just happy to be a part of it.
