Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt celebrated the latest screening of her film In the Land of Blood and Honey last night in LA with an afterparty at Boulevard 3, just down the street from the theater where the premiere was held. The intimate West Coast showing of her film drew Jolie-Pitt family friend Gwen Stefani and a select group of Hollywood powerplayers. The movie follows a love story that unfolds during the Serbian-Bosnian conflict of the '90s and is already generating major buzz for its intense and emotional portrayal of the war. The mood at the soiree was lighthearted, however, and Brad and Angelina stayed out until nearly midnight chatting with their premiere guests and friends — including Brad's Inglourious Basterds costar Eli Roth.
Angelina is on the current covers of The Hollywood Reporter, Newsweek, and Marie Claire and opened up about her filmmaking and family life for the magazines. The actress says her six children and partner Brad Pitt are the driving force in her life, and even in the midst of her promotional tour for her new project, she's been focusing much of her time on them. Earlier this week, Brad and Angie took the kids on a shopping trip at FAO Schwarz in NYC, and Angelina might have a fitting holiday gift of her own if In the Land of Blood and Honey performs well when it opens on Dec. 23.
