Angelina and Maddox Watch Brad Make It Right

After unveiling his pink house project on The Today Show this morning, Brad Pitt held an official press conference to talk about it. Angelina was there to watch her man, as was adorable little Maddox while the rest of the Jolie-Pitt kids sat this one out. At the conference Brad said, "To build those 150 homes, we need the help of the American people...We need to all join together to do this. There is no reason why we can't do a thousand homes." This is definitely a passion project for Brad, hopefully, he sees it through to the end. I love the fact that Brad is NOT just talking, but he's actually physically working on what he believes in, will eventually help the people of New Orleans.

People with 1/3 of a brain realize that any little bit helps and that what they are doing is admirable and far from insulting. Insulting applies more to someone sitting on their AZZ criticizing other people's efforts for a better community --be it here in the USA or abroad. You care so much about the children here, what have you done for them lately? The idea that it's ok to adopt just as long as it's from the USA is appalling to me. To me, that's insulting and disgusting.

Does he have a new movie coming out? Every time they do something it is ultimately to stick their faces out there to promote their bomb movies they come up with a new "I am saving something!" Go Away! And no I won't donate or pay to see another, I want to leave now movie, I wasted my money! Do they realize how confusing their motives look to the normal intelligent American, buying babies abroad ignoring our children in need then buying a mansion then building or saying they will build houses for their poor neighbors! How insulting they are to anyone with half a brain!

I dont respect this family at all. Even if Brad so called didnt cheat on Aniston its still not right that he and Angie hooked up right away. I hate when ppl do that as if their boyfriend-gf or hubby and wife didnt matter.

Hey, Jenny_R, so are you and your life perfect? Is anything in the world? What world do you live in? Who are you to criticize or judge? What's YOUR carbon footprint? I have friends in New Orleans & the Gulf Coast, I was there this October. Believe me, those 150 houses are a GIFT, and the people of New Orleans appreciate them very much. But of course all that goes over the top of your head, or through your head. Tell you what, why don't you become homeless? Maybe then you can truly appreciate a roof over your head, four walls & a floor, and shelter from the elements. Oh, and if you guarantee to keep the paps from bothering the Jolie-=Pitts at the airport and everywhere in public, I'll see about them taking a commercial flight. BTW, have you flown anywhere? Better start to make up for all that fuel & carbon emission.

Love reading all the comments here. The hat doesn't surprise me, Angelina's flats don't surprise me, Brad's charity work doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me are all the comments about how terrible it is for us to comment on things like that here. I am on popsugar, right? This is a gossip site. Maybe check out CNN if you want to talk about weighty issues. I like this site because it IS lighthearted. So...great for Brad and his cause, Maddox is a real cutie, and Angelina looks cute wearing that mushy proud look right along with her flats.

Why are people talking about the hat like it's a new thing?? Brad has had a hat fetish for years and years and years! People should try focusing on the real issue here; the fact that 2 years after Katrina, the people of New Orleans still do not have homes to return to. Someone had to step up to the plate and do something and Brad is doing just that. Brad is putting his money where his mouth is and setting an example to all of us. To me, he is a great man with a wonderfully supportive partner and family and he deserves great kudos for his efforts.

I actually like the hat. It just seems to me he likes wearing them. I'm really glad he's dedicated to paying attention to not only NOLA but the 9th Ward, which definitely needs the extra help in rebuilding.

i think it is great that they are showing their children that you must do thing to make the world a better place. you can't just coast by and be a celebrity, but you must make a conscious effort to do good. the other celebs out there should take a page out of their books and do something other that shop, do drugs, get arrested for drunk driving etc.

I woke up this morning with an urge to help others in need. There are so many people out there who need help. My new year’s resolution is to donate money to at least 3 reputable charities/ organizations. I’m not rich - far from it - but God has given me a little but enough to help.I admire all those whose hearts are big enough to help other people/strangers.
