Why do they need Anna Nicole's DNA to test paternity? That's so odd.

Her mother was saying that she believes it was drugs that killed poor Anna Nicole. And that she was still very depressed over the death of her son. I know Anna Nicole was wacky, but she always seemed kind of helpless.

What a horrific mess that has been left in the wake of her death. It is beyond sad.

I just read that one theory is that her SON DANIEL is the father of the baby, so she killed herself!

Sounds Farfetched, but in THAT family, nothing's impossible.

Did you see how many bags they left her motel room with? I think her medicine cabinet may have rivaled Elvis'. And I think her mother may be right. It will take a while for toxicology to come back though.

If its true about choking on her own vomit I just had a mental flash of poor Chris Farley laying on the floor of his apartment. Also drug related.

You would think if your son OD'd (possibly from your pill popping influence or from your actual stash)you would try to medicate yourself less not more. It boggles the mind.

Whenever a paternity suit is conducted they test both the mother and the father so they can trace the markers in common in the child.

This is a huge mess. All these lawsuits and pending decisions.

the picture is so beautiful posted to this. I liked Anna. Despite all the craziness, she was a person, and like so many people, she had hardships. I hope her baby is taken care of, and to be honest, I hope her death wasnt intentional, I mean, to collapse, with a nurse by your side? Sounds fishy.

I always kinda like ANS. I heard that she attempted suicide right after Daniel died & her bodygaurd pulled her out of the pool & gave her CPR. I personally feel that she might have OD'ed. I want to know why she had a nurse traveling with her? I heard that she had the flu, but you don't really need constant medical attention w/ the flu. That poor poor baby. I agree that she should be with ANS's mom right now. That Howard Stern is a shady shady man...

I don't understand that either why would the father's DNA be determined from Anna's corpse? I feel for this family too and that poor baby. She's going to need a mother.

I always liked her because she was such an honest fruit loop. She just didn't seem to have a scheming, malicious bone in her body. I just feel kind of sick over this. I hope she's in a better place with her son.

They need her genetic markings to exclude them from his. It makes for a cleaner test. As for Larry Birkhead, I had the feeling he still cared for her and was rather surprised when she left him for Slimy Stern.

2) why was the bodyguard the one performing CPR when she apparently had a private nurse?? wouldnt it make more sense for the nurse to perform CPR?

Ups forgot to say, by having her genetic markings they are sure the baby being tested is Ana Nicole Smith's -- this story has gotten so bad that Birkhead thinks they would switch the baby. Not that that would help Stern but oh well.

I heard a news report that Stern was in the room when EMT's arrived. No one gave information as to how long she had been unconscious when she was found , making it harder for the EMT's. I wholeheartedly believe Stern was involved in her death and the death of her son. Maybe not directly, but some how. I hope the best for the baby.

Poor little Dannilyn. I really really hope someone has her back in all this nightmare.

Does anyone know what happen to her assistant the one that was on the show with her on E. I think her name was kim. It has been awhile since I have seen her with Anna. And no one is really talking about who is going to end up with her body? I hope the corpse goes to her mother.

i feel so sad for the baby...she will never know her mother, her brother, and quiet possibly her father...and when she gets older and can read all the stuff about this time in her life, how hard will it be on her..but it really bothers me how people can talk so badly about her right after her death so disrespectful! i was listening to the radio the am and people were just bashing her, i had to turn it off it made me so upset!

The whole thing was planned by Stern, first the death of her son so he won't get her inheritance, then a quicky marriage to Anna, and now the death of Anna herself. He's obviously a money hungry slime.

Larry King was on Ryan Seacrest's morning show today, and he was friends with Anna...he'd interviewed her 9 times. Anyway, he said that there are reports that someone video taped her last moments, and that the video has already been sold to Splash Entertainment for half a million dollars. I thought that was SO disgusting. I hope it isn't true.

Juju - I read the same thing on People & TMZ. I think that Entertainment Tonight bought the tape. Sick.

Why hasn't Howard K. Creepy submitted his DNA for a paternity test. I would think that if he was positive that he's Dannielynn's father, he'd just have the test done and get it over with. I've always had a weird feeling in my gut when it comes to him.

On my way to work, Ryan Seacrest said they already did the autopsy and confirmed a drug overdose. I don't see how that's possible since the blood work would take a while, but does anybody know what he was talking about or was he just talking out his ass?

On the link above "Anna's last moments" it includes the 2 minute footage of her last moments but also states that the producer said the body was not identifiable as Anna's. Also in the NY Daily News Newspaper they mentioned she fell in the bathroom and hit her head on the tub on Wednesday but I have not heard this mentioned anywhere else.

I do not think ET bought any tapes. They have been interviewing her for months now, and the interviews have been actually sweet.

It is so crazy, she died 15 minutes from my house, I think that was all anyone in South Florida was talking about yesterday. My husband is good friends with her bodyguard, Mo, he handles her whenever she is down south. It is all so eerie, I even know the doctor in trauma, he tried to revive her at Hollywwod Memorial ( that is standard procedure for all patients, since the emergency techs are not doctors.

What i think is weird is that I know someone that was there at the Hard Rock yesterday, and they had heard a lot of people saw her lifeless body there under a sheet, and that it seemed like they were not doing enough to bring her back.

I think Larry is the father. There was a pic posted of him as a baby and DaniLynn looks EXACTLY like him. I will b in total shock if he is not.

Interesting point, My Opinion. I definitely think that her death and her son's death are linked somehow, but I hadn't thought that the death of E. Pierce Marshall could also be tied up in all this. He was only in his 60s, after all.

I saw the video. german news had it, nothing there to see... you can't tell is Ana..just someone being transported. (btw, I did not seek it out nor saw it in splashnews -- I was seeing how the story had been treated elsewhere in the world and hit a link). As for falling down, she apparently did fall down a few days before this happened and had a high fever the night before. According to other sources, she also appeared bloated and was puking the day of. I don't know what to believe, so I'll just wait for the official story.

I think Stern is very shady he always seemed very possesive of Anna. If they had such a loving long-term relationship why didn't they do the paternity test right away. I think you're right Mar Larry's most likely the father.

Anna had a problem with her law enforcement mom from way back in her stripping days even. That was a weird relationship.. looks like that falls on anna not wanting to be told to stop using drugs.
