Christina Applegate stuck to watching from the beach as her shirtless fiancé Martyn LeNoble tested out his surfing skills at the Surfrider Foundation's 5th annual celebrity expression session in Malibu on Saturday. It was her second philanthropic event of the weekend after attending Friday's Stand Up 2 Cancer telethon. Sam Trammell, who's come a long way in terms of career and hotness, stripped off his wetsuit to show off his abs after hitting the waves. The dramatic season three finale of True Blood aired last night and on it Sam's character took a turn for the dark side. Anthony Kiedis and One Tree Hill's Austin Nichols also tested the waters during the fun, athletic, shirtless guy-filled afternoon by the ocean.

Leonardo DiCaprio was back at LA's Staples Center yesterday to cheer on the Lakers as they played the Celtics in game two of the NBA finals after his big Saturday at the Spike Awards. Unlike the first matchup, the home team ended up losing with a final score of 103-94. Their famous fans were still enthusiastic, with Justin Timberlake even leaping from his seat in excitement. JT brought a guy friend along while his girlfriend Jessica Biel was off hitting the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. Kim and Khloe Kardashian were there to cheer on Lamar Odom, and Anthony Kiedis took things in alongside Aaron Eckhart. The celebrity basketball enthusiasts will be able to relive the action tomorrow night, when the Lakers and Celtics face off again in Boston.

David Beckham was back in LA last night after his week of world travels, and he was courtside to watch as the Lakers beat the Suns 101-103 in game five of the Western Conference finals. He was joined by other celebs like Jonah Hill and Adam Levine, while The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder chatted as they took in the action. David caught up with Zac Efron during a break from the basketball, but otherwise Zac stayed next to his pal Ryan Rottman. The next Lakers match will be in Phoenix tomorrow night, meaning their famous fans will have to stay glued to their TVs to see what happens next.

The Beverly Wilshire Hotel in LA hosted a special UNICEF Ball last night to honor producer Jerry Weintraub. The man of the evening posed for photos on the blue carpet with George Clooney. Matt Damon posed alone, and his new movie, Invictus, is out today — read Buzz's review here. George's vacation buddies, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, stuck close together, though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie skipped the flashbulbs and headed inside along with Elisabetta Canalis. Yesterday also marked Human Rights Day, which prompted Angelina to pen an article for Newsweek. She wrote about the ongoing crisis in Sudan, questioning the Obama administration's policies toward the country and its leaders on the same day the President picked up his Nobel Peace Prize.

Despite the day's heavy subject matter, Angelina seemed to keep it light inside the bash. She planted kisses on Jerry before he accepted an award from George, who lauded the producer by saying, "When it comes to charities, nobody guilts better." Angelina then moved on to show some affection to Muhammad Ali while an amused Brad laughed. Matt Damon linked up with his wife Luciana once inside, and George kept Elisabetta close during the dinner.

I am re-obsessed with the Chili Peppers. It all happened when I got sucked into Sir Psycho Sexy on Tuesday — what an amazing 8:17 that song is. I listened to it over and over about 10 times. Then I went into a RHCP trance and remembered this fun video. I think I've told you about my bizarro life as a synchronized swimmer? It combines two of my favorite sports: dancing and swimming. So I love all the aqua talent throughout. The gum-chewing ladies in their gold sequin jumpsuits — cue super sparkly Alexander McQueen jumpsuit — are awfully sassy, too. Overall, delicious eye candy — the aeroplane kiddies are scrumptious.

Celebrities were out in Hollywood last night celebrating the launch of Gap's new 1969 premium denim line. Halle Berry stepped out with her man Gabriel Aubry, while Emma Roberts rolled solo. Ashlee Simpson was fresh from the TCAs to smile and strike a few poses, and Joel Madden manned the DJ booth while Nicole hosted a bash across town. It was a crowd that often turns up to support high-end designs, but they all looked happy to snag pairs of the budget-friendly jeans that are all priced under $70.
