Ashlee Simpson's "Outta My Head" — Love It or Leave It?

Ashlee Simpson's new album, Color Outside the Lines will be out soon, but we've already got your first taste right here. Ash is calling it a fun, party album, which is a bit of a departure from her previous "pop punk rock" efforts. She's come a long way since "Autobiography," but is dance music more her speed? She's even teamed up with Timbaland for this track. Check out the first single, "Outta My Head," and tell us — love it or leave it?

I think Ashlee rocks what the fuck ever gets thrown at her.. whether is be a fresh heartache, or a fresh love. I totally support her in whatever change she is going through. Why don't you try a be a celebrity.. try and stay at the top.. it's hard especially while dealing with the emotions that every other person on this planet has. Next time you go and critisize someone.. try and think outside of your one-track mind to find a better reason to hate her new sound. I think it rocks hardcore Ash. --->Ashlee.

Well I really think that she might have talent just not in Go-Go music it was ok just not something i would listen to for more than 30 seconds on the radio she could do better Way better ;)

Um... i like her music... but i think that i would like it whoever sang it... but this is HORRIBLE... I ya ya ya ya hate it! It makes my ears bleed.... Sigh... I was born in the 80's and SOOO happy that i wasn't a teenager then...

I didn't like it at first a couple week ago. The verses are fun, but the chorus is freakin weird, but I just listened to it again and I like it more now. It definitely grows on you...not exactly a good dance song, but fun to sing to and good to work out too. I'm curious about the rest of the album.

You know what, I hate to admit it, but I actually like the song a little bit. It's not that bad of a tune. No, it's not original, but what song these days really is? Every thing's been done already and all music is just a repeat of something else. That's not fair to judge on. Her voice sounds better on this song that it has on other songs. I think Timbaland might be trying to work on her voice with her, to try and get a better sound. I hope he works on other songs with her honestly, cause he's done wonders on this one.
