Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. Last week when when Pete and Ashlee announced their engagement, Us Weekly floated the rumor that she is pregnant. On Monday, the magazine supposedly broke the story with some sort of "confirmation." Pete quickly denied it. Then yesterday, Ashlee went on TRL and avoided the question. Meanwhile, OK! also had some sort of "insider" talking about the baby being due in October. Finally, People talked to "a source" who said that yes she's pregnant and they're getting married in May. Obviously, this back and forth is a little bit ludicrous. So what do you think, after all this nonsense — is Ashlee Simpson pregnant?

Well..in the beginning of their relationship, if you remember, Pete DID deny that they were even dating and said "maybe in a different universe we'd be some hot couple, but not in this one". Then, go figure, a few weeks later they came out and confirmed they were together.So this very well COULD possibly be another one of those incidents.

She danced around the issue of getting a nose job FOREVER, which in turn prolonged media interest in her. She's not going to CONFIRM she's pregnant until she's gotten enough mileage out of this too. This is Papa Joe's media strategy. This entire family is ANNOYING.

It sounds like she is.What's funny though is that Pete did his "Ashlee's not pregnant, I'm not gay" denial, so if it turns out that she is pregnant, everyone will take that to mean Pete's gay too. :ROTFL:

Yes, she's totally pregnant. Or, yes, she just wants to hype up her album. I'm not sure, but I'm sure a bump will give us the answer.

I think people are being pretty cruel to her - if she IS pregnant she's probably just keeping it on the down low during the first stages. If she isn't, people are creating a fuss over nothing. I don't think it's some elaborate media play.

I think Poppa Joe just floated the rumor to get more publicity for Ashlee's album. If she is pregnant, I think she only just found out so she is probably around 2 months along.

I said NO because I don't believe stories until the, err, fat lady sings. I don't read into tabloid 'stories'...I just look at the pics. If they confirm that they are NOT, that's what I'll believe, even if it's obvious. Because a private matter is a private matter.

Seriously her dad is probably telling her to play along with the rumors or whatever is going on so that we keep guessing....He want the attention on her for her album
